Does anyone know whether Southampton had a sell on clause for Bale and if so how much do they get?

Tommy Gunn

1.) Mr Daniel Levy took advantage of Southamptons poor financial position a few years ago and purchased the sell on clause for £2m. Southampton got Levyed!

2.) It's easy to be critical and I was loving the transfers but we all knew that the way we set up today relied us playing a hard pressing game and we did not
We take too long to get the ball forward and therefore allow the opposition to get back behind the ball, we then go wide and only have one in the box.
We looked better with two up front, Erikson will make a difference and we will gell but we still have to get the ball from front to back quicker and Find a Final ball, Walcott was poor but found his forward at the right time!
Not sure how 4 3 3 will work!
Peeved that we have to wait two weeks to see what happens next

Arsenal and Spurs are both big sides with great tradition. Rivalry is great but keep a little respect for your opponent and then beating them is all the sweeter.

Ever been to the Anfield trpohy room by the way?

Why does Glen Hoddle have doubts about your transfers this season. What is it that he sees as a problem? Maybe losing your matchwinner was not quite as good a deal as you first thought.

The guys at Madrid are not totally stupid and they were more than willing to do the deal to get Bale.

Levy may have got the money but when Liverpool got the call from Madrid about Suarez John Henry said no and told Madrid not to bother calling back. Levy didn't manage to do that.

Time will tell whether Levy taking the money and selling the biggest asset you had is wothwhile.

Would you rather have a 10 carat diamond or a pocket full of cube zircona?
