United fan here lads. Want to see great performance tonight. Made a very good Dortmund side look very ordinary in the second half. What a great manager Poch is.

But the real stand out is son. Surely up there with the best in the league on current form. He is a great player to watch when he is in full flow. He’s someone I would love to see in our side. Good luck for the rest of the season lads.

Lovely jubbly news that the greatest finisher in this country could be back as early as next week.

To all the clubs in the league; we are going for this title, MARK MY WORDS.

Changed your mind again have we raver, I wonder what your response will be come 3pm on Sunday when you struggle against Leicester 😂😂😂.

Or do you think if Man United got lucky enough to get within a point of 1st place they will say “we are only going for top 4 so we can lose this game” 😂😂.

Have spurs just won the league, the fans and manager are celebrating like crazy, oh wait, it was just 3 points at home to Leicester 😂.

I suppose you have forgotten what it is like to see your fans celebrating taking 3 points? 😉.

I used to get excited with big Jim on SS DEADLINE day, however I’m not excited one bit. I’m not quite sure why this is.

Oh yeah. Levy get that f’ing cheque book out.

Ed’s any rumours for the spurs boys.

{Ed002's Note - Nkoudou will leave.}

To Levy it’s Thursday!

Ed, will we see more changes in personnel at Spurs over the next couple of days?

{Ed002's Note - Vincent Janssen and Nkoudou I would think.}

So yet another “target” has apparently came out and said he’d rather move somewhere else, to be honest I think the lad is trouble, dropped from the France squad for World Cup because Deschamps claimed he unsettles the dressing room with attitude and petulant outbursts. That’s the last thing we need when morale is low.

As for targeting a “young” player such as Jack Clarke, no disrespect to the lad but that’s just Levy all over, in desperate need of some quality and experience and he thinks a potential future star will ease the fans frustration. Stop the arsing around and use the Dembele money with a little investment and improve this deteriorating squad.

28 Jan 2019 20:23:19
Why would he go to spurs? Less money, no trophies.

Agree1 0Disagree

28 Jan 2019 20:46:33
More competitive league and regular first team football, pretty similar to the Perisic situation, he knows he won’t win anything and probably no champions league either, but maybe he fancies a tilt at the Europa League!

Agree0 0Disagree

29 Jan 2019 11:14:06
History shows we do win trophies, history shows Spurs don’t.

Agree1 0Disagree

29 Jan 2019 12:59:46
“History” being the keyword there. we are quite a way off from challenging for major honours but your lot are even further behind! Aubameyang, Torreira and Lacazette aside, that whole squad needs improving and as for the back line, probably as poor as any top 6 back line in recent times.

History is the key word that’s why I put it.

Well done spurs we come close but no cigar as usual, I still don't know what the fuss is about super pochetinho, nearly 5 years at the club and still no trophies in sight lol.

Believable2 3Unbelievable

25 Jan 2019 16:05:43
It’s not really pochetinho that’s the issue here!
He can only work with what he has got.
If the board put up some money and strengthen the team I have no doubt there wouldn’t be a problem with poch.

Can anyone tell me how many of the players that have came in since pochetinho has been in charge are actually players wanted be the manager?
I would have a guess at zero!

We have a small squad and you sell one of your strongest experienced players this January for £11m
£11m is peanuts nowadays we will lose more than that if we drop out the top 4!🤦🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️.

I am mystified why Poch puts Sterling in the bench and with 4 minutes to go is not even considering an introduction when we are drawing 1-1.

Absolutely pointless signing average players to pack a squad when you have so many promising youngsters like Marcus Edwards, Oliver Skipp, Foyth, Troy Parrott and Kazaiah Sterling.

Poch needs to trust these youngsters and allow them to flourish. I would love to see the following players in the FA Cup games; Gazziniga, Foyth, N’Koudou, Skipp, Edwards and Sterling.

Moura is back imminently, Son won’t be long, Sissoko will soon be back and then Kane will be declared fit mid February as he recovers so quickly.

21 Jan 2019 11:28:34
Your spurs knowledge is outstanding oracle, how can Marcus Edwards play in the cup when he is out on loan in Holland? 😂😂.

Agree1 1Disagree

21 Jan 2019 16:35:15
Gunnerbod he is still a youth player and loans can be terminated. It looks unlikely but an option.

Contract Players aged 20 or under on 1st July immediately preceding the Season in question,

may be registered on a Youth Loan.

Youth Loans may not extend beyond the date of the Player's 21st birthday.

15 Jan 2019 19:40:32
Harry Kane is out until March then, also sissoko is out for 5 weeks and son will miss four games if levy and Lewis don't act now to bring in reinforcements then the fans should be calling for them to sell up to someone who will take the club forward.

{Ed033's Note - Time to dye your football tops yellow?

16 Jan 2019 01:04:37
Raver you are such a negative supporter it is untrue. You talk as though the season is about to implode and your previous post proved you to be a drama queen.

Kane our fir 4-8 weeks is a major worry but he has hardly been firing the f Kate has he. Son is a major loss as he is on fire, but the Asian Cup finishes soon so hardly long term is it. Sissoko has been a beast of late but Dier is now fit again and is more than capable of forming a strong partnership with Winks.

Is Lloris, Rose, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Trippier, Dier, Winks, Moura, Eriksen, Deke Alli and Moura such a bad team? Gazziniga, Sanchez, Foyth, Davies, Aurier and Llorente on the bench. Hardly a disaster is it. Perhaps a packed midfield will stifle Chelsea in the second leg and grind out a draw. Borrussia Dortmund in the Champions League are no great team and the squad with Jane and Simon is more than capable. Lastly the Premiership games are Fulham away then Watford, Newcastle and Leicester at home before Burnley away. Also consider Son will have rejoined for most of these games.

I believe we have to sign a couple of players to keep the momentum, but hardly a disaster if we didn’t. Stop focussing on all the damn negatives:

1. Best stadium in the Premiership nearly finished.
2. Best manager in the Premiership and £100m compensation if Manchester United poach him.
3. Amazing players the best we have seen for decades.
4. 3rd in the Premiership and looking fairly likely to secure top 4 Champions League for next year.
5. Ahead 1-0 in the League cup game against our arch enemy and favourite to qualify for the final.
6. In the FA Cup proper and a relatively easy fixture.
7. Still alive in the Champions League last 16 and favourite to qualify.
8. Very healthy balance sheet and plenty of money to sign players if the write players are available.

Wait until the end of January and you might be surprised. If there are no signing I still fancy the squad to handle this difficult period.

Come on you Spurs!

Stay united and Eriksen, Alli, Lamela and Moura it is your time to shine. COYS.

16 Jan 2019 16:03:47
What total and utter nonsense. Take out Eriksen, Alli and Toby and that is Liability FC. 1. Maybe and not ready until next season. 2. Pep? Klopp? Where did you get £100 mil from? 3. Other than Harry who is better than GB or Luka? 4. Manchester United in form, Chelsea get going, top four is up in the air now. 5. Why are we favourites, a drained out depleted mismanaged squad. 6. Irrelevant, not got the squad down to chairman and manager. 7. Again why are we favourites to beat a good Dortmund team who at worst are equal with us minus Harry. 8. The one thing certain fans had to cling onto, is it even true anymore and who cares anyway? In all seriousness though we have got the highest paid boardroom in the Prem and that is something to be very proud of.

Negative supporter we've not won a big trophy in 28 years i think I have a right to be dissappointed with that, you mention bench above I think its a shocking bench. Best manager in the league who has won absolutely nothing In his whole career, amazing players again who have done nothing in their carrers including international bar Loris, I am what you call a very honest poster.

17 Jan 2019 01:36:57
Raver you are a pessimistic swine and totally unreasonable. Spurs were a mediocre club mid table consistency and even had a couple of years tinkering in the edges of the relegation zone.

Our squad over those years included the likes of Dozzell, Tremanzani, Dominguez, Ben Thatcher, Acimovic, Toda, Blondel, Ariel Fox, Chris Armstrong, Postiga, Zamora, Andy Reid, Grzegorz Rasiak, Danny Murphy, Prince Boateng, Davenport, Pleikosa, John Scales, Zeki Fryers, Vega, Ghaly, Andy Booth, Stambouli, Etherington, Nicola Berti, Stuart Nethercott, Justin Edinburgh, Gilberto, Paul Staltieri, Gary Doherty, Andy Gray, Anthony Gardner, Andy Sinton etc etc.

We have a superb squad with promising youth. An amazing stadium even if it is next year. Regular Champions League football and top 4 Premships consistency. We also have the best manager and all this from a real club run without cheating the financial fair play rules.

How can we compete with the financial clout of Chelsea, Man City and even Liverpool and Man Utd. We needed a bigger stadium and more consistency which we now have. This will help increase revenues sharply and allow Spurs to become the next super heavyweight. I imagine a billionaire owner takeover is likely once the new season commences.

Never seen Spurs look so strong and competing at the top level in many competitions. We have a tricky period ahead but I am confident our squad will see us through and we will sign a couple of new players.

COYS.

George Graham and Ramos had absolutely crap sides but they will always be remembered by the raver as they lifted cups, you go in record books for winning things not finishing 4th every season.

Oracle, I like you as a person and you are a good poster, footballs
all about opinions in which we all differ about. I'm just disappointed you called me a pessimistic swine as I get called that all the time from Mrs raver 😁.

Agree2 2Disagree

17 Jan 2019 22:31:58
Lol Raver. 😂

Yes they won cups but we were terrible and I would prefer my trips around Europe and remember paying Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and other Major night more than some league or FA Cup.

We are now on the verge of glory and I am frustrated that we cannot make that final investment to seize the day, but we have a great squad make no mistake.

Troy Parrett, Kazaiah Sterling and Marcus Edwards are desperate to shine. Now is the time to tell them to ‘Go earn your Spurs! ’ I believe they can deliver and I would love to see Foyth as CDM for a few games as he looks like he has the lot.

COYS.

Oracle, IMO, the stadium will not improve our financial clout as the objective is just more money into the ENIC coffers and a bigger bonus for levy at the end of the financial year.

We will sell players at 2019/ 2020 prices BUT will insist on buying at 2010/ 2012 prices!

Troy Parrott - 16 years old

Kazaiah Sterling - never played a professional game in his career

Marcus Edwards - never impressed when been out on loan or given first team opportunites and has a massive attitude problem.

Stop going on about these kids like they are going to save us because they are not!

Another crap performance from spurs, the last few weeks we've been so poor lost to wolves, had the runaround against Utd and Chelsea we will finish 5th and have zero trophies again thanks to the crap board in charge and the way overrated pochetinho, its like a crap film you've seen hundreds of times watching spurs as you know the outcome come May every season . I'm off to damage my liver again tonight and I blame it on stress and depression thanks to Tottenham Hotspur.

Believable0 2Unbelievable

14 Jan 2019 08:00:30
That was not a crap Spurs performance, I'm a united fan and thought we slightly edged the first half but spurs dominated all the second half and probably should have won the game with the chances they created.

Agree1 0Disagree

14 Jan 2019 11:32:26
You got it wrong raver, poch is a great manager, it’s the board that won’t back him, who do you think would do a better job with very limited resources?

Agree2 0Disagree

15 Jan 2019 17:13:08
Agreed TOT, realistically it should have been a draw. 1m either side of the keeper we could have been 4 goals in front. That didn’t happen so we move on.

Spurs were the better team in the 2nd half considering we had 10 men. Lamela should have stayed in the dugout (useless) move him on at the end of the season he’d had his chance. I’d move the keeper on as well.

Hi Ed, any truth in Victor Wanyamma going back to Celtic on loan? Or is it just pie in the sky for Celtic fans? Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate, I just know Spurs want to get him fully fit for a sale. It does seem unlikely though.}
