I am hearing the name Sadio Mane, a young, explosive left winger from Senegal as a last minute signing. Anybody know?

Read it too. Apparently Southampton have bid for him aswell. He does look good though, maybe Townsend will go to Southampton or maybe this is their alternative to Townsend.
2.) Reported to be having medical at Soton. Unless Harry wants him looks like Townsend is ours to keep for a few more months.

Looks like we got screwed again out of good players. Wellbeck going to the goners, Mane deal scuppered by Southampton. I think it's time for Joe Lewis to fire Levy so we can move ahead.

What makes you think Welbeck is such a good player. Arsenal panic buying. Spurs wanted him on loan and arsenal beat us to it as they wanted to buy him outright

Roberto Soldado was totally useless today. Where was he? He certainly wasn't at the game, for sure. Couldn't even score from the spot. Get rid of him and bring in a striker that can score.
1.) Thanks again Daniel for our striker! Had so much faith in Soldado, successive managers have completely f***ed him! Still at least we ain't Sunderland!
2.) Soldado needs a run of games. Ade is a waste of space and I am begining to think Lamela is not much better, His attitude/confidence is easily knocked it appears, don't think he is going to make it in the PL.
3.) I agree Yellow Card, He attitude on the pitch is terrible waving his arms around when he doesn't get the ball. In all honesty. I think Lamela should be the 1st out the door in Jan. Take Baldini with him. Shocking buy of the century. He's added absolutely nothing to Spurs.

5.) You got to wonder when the axe is going to fall on Baldini. 13 new signings and not much to show for it. Levy is going be sick to his stomach when he tries to recoup the money spent on most of them.

When will we get rid of the do nothing Aaron Lennon?
1.) I hear what your saying. But I would push Aaron into a more central role as he can't cross the ball for sh1t. Put Him behind the front 2 but with enough space to run at defenders directly towards the goal.
2.) Lennon needs to receive the ball whilst on the move or at least facing the opposition, he can then accelerate past defenders.
last years playing style certainly didn't play to his strengths as he was getting the ball facing his own goal.

The team lineup was just announced and, once again, Loser Lennon is starting. He can't score, he has 1 asset this season, never heads the ball, and is basically a warbler. He has to have the goods on TS to stay in the lineup.
They have to get rid of Lennon, Naughton, and Rose. We need of players that want to play and want to win. I don't see that with this squad.
1.) Why just pick on Lennon?
2.) Lemon hasn't done a thing this season, but continues to hold a starting place. Other than being quick, what does he really really do? I will say he had a decent game tonight; 1st one of the season.
3.) If you can't see what else Lennon does, and also the obvious reasons he's not having a good season, then you really shouldn't be commenting.

3 - 0. Nobody on the team wants to win bad enough.
1.) This team went to Anfield expecting to loose. Once the first goal went it the final result was never in doubt.
We are seriously naive tactically with too many players starting that are either not committed or simply not good enough.

Agree with all. Horrible transfer window. Levy doesn't want a winning team; he wants a balance sheet. And what happened to the USELESS Franco Baldini? What did he add?
I believe that the other chairmen don't want to deal with Levy. Being a tough negotiator only goes as far as whether the person across the table want to deal with him. And I think he has p*ssed off too many people.
Time for Joe Lewis to give him his walking papers.
It's only a friendly to watch ALL of the players.
