I like how people were talking about higuain being a flop, and that he has a large transfer fee with for someone with no premier league experience. But isn't paulo go meant to be coming this way for a large 17 million pound fee with no experience either? Both are very good players, but you can't disregard one player purely because they're going to a rival team.
Both spurs and arsenal will strengthen heavily this summer I believe, me there will be many top class players drafted in. Better squads can only mean better matches and derbies, and this season could really be a good season.

Higuain is a quality quality quality striker and I would pay 20/22m for the guy.

Hate to say it but Higuain will be one of the best signings this season IMO

Agreed, so much for Madrid special relationship! If we would've paid £22m for Moutinho then we should try and spend it on Higuain (but Moutinho wasn't really ever going to happen, it was PR spin bull).

As a Spurs fan it pains me to say it but don't think Higuain would join us and he is definitely not a flop!
Agree with R91 will be a great signing.

Mykitaryan will go to Dortmund or Liverpool. I'd say Liverpool are most likely.

They want €30m for Mykitaryan, Liverpool won't pay anywhere near that amount. He'll end up at Dortmund.

Gareth Bale has verbally agreed to stay at Spurs for one final season. This will require a different contract on higher wages, but more attractive terms for the club for resale value.
Damiao, Villa, Paulinho & McCarthy have all agreed to join in principle, but they want the club to demonstrate their commitment buy securing Bale first.
With Gomes, BAE, Parker, Livermore & Adebayor all looking likely to join Gallas, Bentley, Bostock, Nicholson & Munns.
Defoe will stay to ensure that there is cover up front, should Villa get injured.

That was 100% posted by the oracle.
Maybe on a different pc lol
On a different note, there is loads of money being spoke about concerning certain strikers. What about this for a bit of business. If the rumours are correct then juve have agreed to sign tevez. That means juve have signed llorente and tevez for a combined €10million. That is unbelievable business done on their part.

Bale off to United in exchange for Welbeck.
Only hold up is Welbeck's reluctance to join an over achieving mid-table club.
United will also pay £ 2, 3million!
Great great deal for the Spurs! We will use the 2 million to buy some new training kits & equipment:) Fantastic deal for the Club.
I believe we can win the title with a front 3 of Adebayor/Welbeck/Dempsey with the brilliant trio of Parker/Huddelstone/Siguurdddeeddson behind them to provide somethings ;)

Almost as tasty as Fletcher Anderson and Cleverley. Its a shame about the Glazers owning your club and your debts. You would love Bale wouldn't you, but guess what you can't afford him and he ain't for sale and hevis going to destroy you nexy season, again ( did you see the way he glided past Rio your top defender) Lol.

McCarthy? Not sure his the man we need to take us to the next level. We've just signed Paulinho who's a much better player. If we do go for McCarthy then surely we've taken a massive step back.
Gabriel.

James McCarthy is a great little squad player, and one for the future. His passing rate and accuracy was better than most top midfielders, including the likes of Fellaini, and that statistic includes a more than 3 x the average for long passes.
If there was ever a Scottish footballer who reminded me of Luka Modric, then here he is. Do not jest or laugh, James McCarthy is a really special little player.

Erm. no he is not a special player, not one of the big boys in any league are after him. Better then Paulinho. NO, better then Dembele. NO, better the Holtby. NO, better then Sandro. NO, better then Tom Carroll. I don't think so. Carroll would make a better fill in player then McCarthy as he knows the tottenham game well because he was brought through the ranks and has trained everyday with the first team.
Why waste money on a player that would be 5th choice. Wake up.
Gabriel.

Clankers, actually he was born in Scotland but represents Ireland as a promise he made to his dying grandfather.

Clankers you're wrong. He's born in Scotland, but was eligible/decided to play for ireland through his grandfather and maternal grandmother. He is both Irish and Scottish
Dont correct others before ensuring your facts are correct.
You are the same type of person who would say platini is not italian, maldini (maldic) is not slovenian, and ibrahimovic isn't Bosnian. there's a difference between ethnicity and nationality, learn it.
Sorry for the rant, but nothing eggs me on more than condescending know-it-alls who are factually wrong

The fact he chose to play for Ireland instead of Scotland shows he thinks of himself as Irish. If he really wanted to play for Scotland he would have.

Of course he is British. Anyone Scot or Welsh player with a bit of talent and they are British. If they are s***, they are not. Typical as always.

Real Madrid will look to pay Spurs £60m plus Di Maria. Spurs will buy Mario Gomez with some of the excess money whilst some will go to bringing in James McCarthy and towards the development of the new stadium.

Why would you sell the current 3rd best player in the world. you don't have a clue about football. We build a team around this boy! END OF. Tottenham do NOT need the money, the club makes a flipping profit every single year PLUS on top of that we save large sums of money by offloading the dead wood. Wake up people. Bale is NOT for sale.
Keep your negativity away, it's not good for our club.
