According to french media we have agreed a fee with Toulouse for the transfer of Etienne Capoue for 10 mil ?. Subject to medical thursday or friday. But why on Earth would we Want to sign him with Parker, Huddlestone and livermore still here? Anybody know something about this? Cheers
1.) He can also play CB. That may have something to do with it. Apparently he is quite good.
2.) Parker, Huddlestone and Livermore are no in the class of Capoue. We still have Holtby and even Dembele that can cover this position.
3.) I'd say as a club we've learnt a lesson by buying our players before shipping out others. We failed to replace many players in the past as we've left ourself thin. Also proberbly find when we are desperate teams ask for more money and we all know how much Levy loves saving a £ or 2
