Simmo my friend, are Dawson and Walker not part of spurs first choice back 4? thought so, so by my reckoning that would make the number of back 4 player missing for you and us = 2, unless of course you play 6 at the back? I didn't disagree over spends I just pointed out in the last twenty years we have won a lot more than one cup, finished higher than you (except the last couple of years). Your right it is December and things may change, but when you get pasted at home just accept it and try not to slag the opposition, that makes your arguments look daft!


Crafty Cockney and the rest. you boys do realise we were missing 4 first team players yesterday, Enrique, Stevie G, Agger and Sturidge and yet still managed to make your expensive team/squad look a very poor team. Just thought I'd clarify that little point for you.

Not 4 first team players across the defence alone though was it?!
And, as for expensive squad, pot and kettle or what - Liverpool have spent fortunes in the past few years and look how long it's taken to finally look decent and be high in the table. However, it's December, not April or May.

1.) Why don't you have a quick poll on here as to who thinks Dawson is even our 3rd choice CB if all are fully fit? Kaboul and Vertonghen all day long and for me it's Chiriches next, Daws getting slower and more exposed all the time - AVB was happy to sell him. Rose would be left back or Vertonghen so we had Walker as ONE first choice member of back 4 then the above FOUR players missing plus, Naughton then went off injured as well.
We've finished above you for the past fpur years. I didn't state anything that wasn't true mate, you have a higher net spend for a few years and this season Man City, United, Spurs, Chelsea and Everton have all changed managers or had a big influx of new players - big upheavals. Liverpool and @R$enal haven't and are fairly consistent compared to that group but hardly miles ahead of them.

2.) Oh, and as I also spelt out in black and white that Sandro (one of the best DMs in the league) hobbled off early then Paulinho (remaining DM) was sent off on the hour mark when it was only 2-0. Yes you were worth it but, tactically AVB has had it wrong, he's changed the team constantly and had all that to contend with in this fixture as well. More a measure of his ineptitude and the extreme circumstances as opposed to Liverpool suddenly being majorly superior as a club again. Apart from bigger wages and spending more you have nothing but history over us for now.
Let's also remember that you only have the FA Cup and League to play for as well so, not even had fixture pile up, we played Thursday and many extra midweek games already (because of finishing higher than you again).

If we're not good mate then I'd be watching out for your boys as there's always a team that slide down the league! As for one player you want, isn't he in Spain? one man team? mmmmmmmmmmm


Fully agree mate we got dominated by your whole team we are terrible, shows even more when you only have one player we would even want. Liverpool aren't even good yet we lose 5-0 goes to show how bad avb is, we allow players of this quality to shine and look like they are class, get avb out!

Tony mate I fully agree we may well be the team that slides down the league I have no doubt the longer avb stays the further we will slide, but make no mistake liverpool are not class you have Suarez sure but the rest are average. Selah if you get him would be a great signing and I like sturridge but I don't rate the rest of your team.

You team is allegedly playing great ours atrociously yet were only 6 points behind what's that tell you. But hey good result well done you can only beat the team that's put out against you and you beat the rubbish that you encountered today so enjoy well done!

2.) Marc643, if you seriously wouldn't swap Lucas, Henderson, Johnston Suarez and Sturidge for any of your players then enjoy mid table obscurity my friend.

3.) Mate you are so deluded it's unreal. Our team outplayed you not just suarez. We played the first 5 games without him and were above you. We now have sturridge and Gerard injured we beat you 5-0 easily. Tottenham are awful. You're where you are by lucky penalties look at our goal difference to yours?

Unlucky mate don't worry you can battle out with United for 7th place if that!

Haha Henderson is pony hell no to him, Johnson is decent, Lucas for who Sandro your joking, Suarez prob best in the league right now and sturidge is good but the rest no thanks, which is prob why you have been mid table for the last few years, your just benefiting from the teams around you being mediocre at times man city, Chelsea, man u, and spurs

5.) Redmist that's the point we have been awful I'm just bringing you back down to earth you guys aren't that hot you just beat a useless team.

Like bale Suarez will leave and he will be irreplaceable but hey good win as I said you can only beat the team that is put out against you.

6.) Suarez and Sturrige without a doubt you can have all of our new signing for them two, coutiniho is good and would get in most teams.
My issue is not who should play for Liverpool or for Tottenham, the facts are that your boys were brilliant and you got what you deserved in fact it could and should have been more so well done.
You could get top 4 as Man U are poor and therefore this is perhaps your time, if we do not get rid of AVB now we will be letting you have it without a challenge, we looked like a team of individuals and he cannot manage those international players to muster a shot on target, it was a thrashing and whatever happens from here on you exposed us badly, the irony is that AVB goes then we may still get back at you but I doubt it so for now enjoy the moment, I would have if it was the other way around

Be honest, a good result against a very poor team, But not in a million years would I rather have Lucas instead of Sandro, or Henderson instead of Dembele/Eriksen/Capoue, as for Johnston I assume you mean Johnson and I would rather have Walker everyday of the week. Yes I would take Suarez and at this moment in time Sturridge as well Soldado will come good though at which point the only player I would have is Suarez, but IMO he won't be yours for to much longer.

8.) You can say we beat you that bad because you are awful (you are) but when we have the second highest goal scoring talley in the league and are second in the league you have nothing. Again the difference is if we lose suarez we still have a quality team. You didn't as you bought a bunch of flops. If we are so poor we wouldn't be second in the league this far along!

Liverpool have spent an absolute fortune in recent years and been nowhere. Henderson has had a year to settle and was big money now you're raving. Suarez is undoubtedly world-class and you would struggle long term without him. Joe Allen? Another fortune. Coutinho promising but in and out. Point is you've had time to bed most players in and as well as you played today, you only really buried us with 10men.

10.) Can I ask what colour the sun is on your planet? yes we have spent money but I think you can agree spurs are not far behind if at all? oh and by the way at least we have more than one trophy to show for our spends.
