Sunday proved where we are light years away from the top 4 men v boys totally outplayed. So another hugely disapointing window no major target signed got rid of some mediocrity but sandro going and townsend lennon staying baffling. Typlcal piece of business by levy last week welbeck available wanted to come an giroud not injured left it as useual and lose him at last minute levy just proved business man not a football or spurs bone in his body 6th or 7th at best this year

1.) Totally agree although light years and 6th or 7th seems kind. Trying to get Welbeck was the cheap option as usual. How petty of Levy not to let Saints buy Townsend. We won't get offered that sought of money for him again which means we will be stuck with him for years. I've said it before, when it goes wrong this season there will be only one person to blame and all roads will lead to Levy.

townsend has some ability but he's a one trick pony, and thick to boot. modern football requires intelligent players who can follow instruction and show ambition to improve. we'll never get serious money for him now.

Another hugely disapointing window and can't see us signing another player if levy thinks a back up keeper 2 full backs one sent out on loan and another can't get in in front of rose and an untried cb is all we need then he is deluded

matty11

1.) If poch is planning to rely on naughton, rose, lennon and townsend throughout the season he'll be out the door come christmas, lol. these players will get him sacked.

2.) A little bit over the top no? We have had some pretty good transfer windows recently and I don't think we need to strengthen in that many areas really.

Moreover Naughton was only playing as Walker was injured and Davis will become a starter once he has settled in I'm sure

Cb from valencia rb from somewhere on loan scheiderlin and bony plus green light to go for hernandes will be interesting to see how many we get over the line on current teams and additions 7th at best for us this season

All but Bony would be a good transfer window. The Valencia CB would be an impressive signing, and might suggest Daniel Levy does has a bit of ambition.

i'd take jay R over bony, best of a bad bunch. how is bony going to help soldado discover his scoring boots? we need clever, attacking players, not target men.

3.) Jay r over bony? Jay r has such a shocking scoring record it's ridiculous.

Dont u love the way chelsea, arsenal liverpool, man u, city do thier business then there is us same every year last minute might explain the mediocre that we have bought gone backwards what does it take to get levy out

matty11

1.) You offer success, money (wages), stupid transfer fees and CL. These clubs can. That's why they get their business done with no fuss.

If it as todays papers our transfer policy reliant on dawson and sigurson leaving we might as well give up and settle for mid table mediocrity which is where levy is taking us. Every season the same how about a poll for the day is levy a closet gooner or our head coach.
