Funny how at the start of the season you guys, pundits even harry redknapp were talkin you lot up for the title! Now because youve had a few stuffings, and one from an apparently average liverpool team its because your manager is poor! Now let's get this straight, henderson man of the match, suarez untouchable, flanagan still has lennon in his back pocket, kyle walker is garbage, sterling destroyed naughton at 19 years of age, lucas and allen intelligently out played your so called powerful midfield and soldado? Well, couldn't hit a barn door the lad. Infact, he doesn't get the service to attempt to hit the barn door! Yet your that arrogant to try and talk down a liverpool side that has just gone to your place, haven't won their since 2008 and thrashed you 5-0! Can you read that? 1 2, 1 2 3, 1 2 3 4, 5-0. Your arrogance knows no bounds lads! On todays showing, there's more than one liverpool player would get into that spurs team without any shadow of doubt!

3.) Yes you were good today and we were feeble but I haven't seen one Liverpool fan mention that we were playing with a midfielder as cb as Vertonghen, Chiriches and Kaboul are all injured. Imagine Liverpool with Henderson or Lucas as cb.

tha's because we have the strength in depth defensively. coates I injured, agger not fully fit. but we have capable replacements. you spent too much on overpriced players to replace bale. had you spent a lil more wisely you could have added more depth at CB as well

5.) Dont try and he be a smart ass because you look stupid. We have depth in cb, incase you didn't know spurs have Vertonghen, Chiriches and kaboul all injured. All of those are better than any of your cb's. Coates, the same Coates that you Liverpool fans want rid of as he is such a donkey?

6.) In fairness don't want to be cocky and spurs may pick up their game further on in the series but don't think you can blame injuries on the result. We are missing sturridge, gerrard, and enrique. With aspas, hendo, and agger just coming off of injury, so three of our starting XI gone and still performed well (also saurez banned for 6 games at the start of the season). Saying that Capoue at CB ruined your whole team but still think AVB made mistakes with his summer signings. Needed more CBs and still baffled no full backs were signed, you have no good RBs or LB (unless you play vertonghan who is your best CB) and spend £25 m on a young winger who can't get into the team whilst your manager had all summer to watch how Townsend had developed.

7.) Had to admit it, but Roland you are partially right . We should have sold Dawson and kept caulker, should have brought a left back! But Walker is twice the player that Johnson is!
As for Lamela, he is a good player but needs to play regular .
I just wish that AVB would stop changing the bloody team about every game, play with more tempo and play the players in their proper bloody positions!

8.) Rodgers won that battle 5-0, tactically he knew exactly what he was doing and I can only congratulate that, AVB has been found out a few times this season.
You can read my other comments about a high line vs Suarez and co, it is absolute suicide.

9.) In fairness I don't rate walker, but I can't stand johnson. Even during yesterday's game he infuriated me can't defend, gets caught out of position, and no longer contributes offensively. Is lazy as well, but seriously think England are in trouble at the World Cup because he will probably start and Saurez will have a field day with it

10.) Crafty Cockney and the rest. you boys do realise we were missing 4 first team players yesterday, Enrique, Stevie G, Agger and Sturidge and yet still managed to make your expensive team/squad look a very poor team. Just thought I'd clarify that little point for you.

11.) Not 4 first team players across the defence alone though was it?!
And, as for expensive squad, pot and kettle or what - Liverpool have spent fortunes in the past few years and look how long it's taken to finally look decent and be high in the table. However, it's December, not April or May.

well played lads that's the best showing from any side at anfield this season. no other team has dominated the ball like that at our place this season, really powerful side! top goal scorer and you could be contenders next season! must keep bale though! we won that with fight and grit more than anything and a helping hand from yours truly haha! exciting game to watch, good luck in your champs league campaign next season, and for the future, see you next season!

2.) At the start of the season you was playing terrible and getting beat at home. Play arsenal now an you wouldn't lose 0-2.
If we played you at anfield at the start of the season, then I think the score would of been different.

3.) Maybe but during that spell that arsenal destroyed us at home we alsoplayed city and united off the park at anfield

im not from liverpool no I live on the outskirts and have supported them all my life! I've been to hundreds of games including champs league semi finals and trips to wembley in fa cup semi finals! so my support is not in question! my dad went to rome in 77 european cup final and to wembley in 78so I come from good stock! we live breath and sleep liverpool football club! why are you so hostile towards me COYMFS? I dnt come looking for grief I come to talk about football as I have a huge interest in football and an interested in peoples opinions! I have acknowledged that spurs are a good team with good players and fan base, why do you find it necessary to gun me down as it were? excuse the pun! all I did was defend my team as you would yours, is it really that bad? that's the last time I write in to this part of the site! if you win tomorrow I will congratulate you and move on! good luck for the rest of the season and in the future

well no name, there was one in particular that grated me a little, which suggested that liverpool were now a small championship club, that's with the greatest respect to championship clubs by the way, and that coming to anfield would be easy and that spurs would run out 4-0 winners and that suarez couldn't touch bale which isn't true! we are not a small club, in fact, in terms of history and fan base we are enormous so found it a little bit disrespectful! I know that tottenham are on the up and are a great footballing side so the derogatory comments from a minority of lfc fans is unwarrented also! there were a few other derogatory comments from spurs fans also but that was the main one. I respect spurs as a team and I respect the fans, great support home and away, sell out every where you go as do we so found the animosity a little distasteful between the two sets of supporters!

1.) You are enormous (as you say)because glory hunters latched on to you. In the 70'tvd 80's.
the difference between our 2 sets of fans is that 99. 9% of spurs fans are from the area and feel passionately about their local club.
Now, are you from Liverpool. If you are, then good but my guess is that most of your fans gave never been to anfield.
We are not the biggest club in london and excuse our exuberance when we show the premiership how good we can be.
Look at the table, we are the top club that hadn't relied on finance to make it up there. We are a team that had built and been run a certain way.
Now, if one t, what had invaded your site, being disrespectfull then, we agree, he is a t, what but do not come on here, slating us for comments we gave made because, finally, justifiably, we are up there where we think we belong without the aid of 10's of millions.
Now, we love banter on here, we play the game but do not come on here giving it billy big bolloks because it always comes back to bite you in the ass. After last season, we know this too
well.

no name, I explained yesterday that I came on to this site to have some friendly banter and honestly ask you about tomorrows gane and what your thoughts were on it! I then saw the abuse levelled at lfc so felt the need to defend us, as you would your club! I explained yday that if you win tomorrow I will happily come back and wish you the best of luck and congratulate you but will you do the same? I doubt it! and don't be so sure that you will win tomorrow, it will be tough but we are playing some excellent football, so we will see!

i would be interested to know which comments have offended you so much, I have looked on both the spurs and the pool pages and the stuff on your page is far more disrespectful than vise versa.

regarding the game, I do think it qwilll be close but we will edge it by a goal (probably a bale goal), however if you do outplay us and win then I have no problem with congratulating you on the scouse page
