Heard a rumour through twitter that levy may be looking to break our tramsfer record again nd perhps 2 more players(if true a cf and lb i'm guessing)
According to twitter he's keepimg his targets close to his chest

Hi eds, with lamela, chicares and erikson all hopefully signing. Are we still looking for a left back and if so is coentrao a likely option? Also is this hernandez approach true? Hope all these players sign with a couple of departures
Thanks eds {Ed001's Note - yes, yes, Coentrao is available and Madrid are willing to include him as part of the Bale deal. I have no idea about Hernandez sorry.}
1.) Hi you should get them all but then chadli, dembele, sigurdson would be subs and u would sell defoe
2.) Defoe is staying, still a good player and unstoppable on a going day
3.) With adebayor not being in any of the squads and I have no idea where he is, why in would you even consider selling Defoe to then give us two strikers (including lamela) after everyone complained we only had two.

Heard threw twitter that we have made a bid for eriksen, EDS, any truth?

Personally prefer eriksen but both would be quality signings {Ed002's Note - Not yet but there will be as Milan are lurking. The issue will be the price and the interest of Milan. Pjanic is the option.}
1.) Would also prefer eriksen or Lamela. I don't think willian is worth the money, he's 25 hasn't broke into the Brazil squad, and dosnt have a great goal scoring record either.
at 30 plus mill its just to much.!
2.) Saw the same speculation re Eriksen, supposedly bid made over the weekend.
3.) Brazil are stupid to carry on picking Hulk over Willian.

ED's, Is it true that AVB has been given a £50mil transfer kitty plus whatever made from sales of other players? {Ed008's Note - Nothing like that he has funds and as always you have to sell players to bring others in.
1.) Well the fact AVB inherited a squad of average players, must obviously hinder the opportunity to add more quality players with big wages to the team. That will be addressed in this window, and he did use the interest from PSG to get assurance from the board. Expect next seasons team to have his stamp of new players

Felt we missed eriksen/holtby today, that creativity in the final third
Plus chadli amd townsend are very similar, don't think they complement each other well but voth good players
1.) Lamela and Lennon to come, Eriksen in behind Soldado - options and improvement to come.

Townsend is really staking his claim in the squad and I can see him playing on the left of eriksen and lamela. This would see him playing all over that 3 in an mobile squad. All though avb likes his signings better than players already in the squad ie sandros place in the team?
