twitter saying spurs have reached agreement for Willian? Is there actually any truth in these viral rumours?
Surely if we were to invest that much money in Willian, Bale must be on his bike?
I really like Willian but he is just way too overpriced. Rather we invested that in Lamela.
1.) Don't shoot the messenger
But it's now coming out that were in for both Lamela and willian
Any fan would live bale to stay, but with these 2 additions- I think he wouldn't be as necessary

2.) I read an online article claiming Spurs looking to spend a further £60m on Willian and Lamela as they have agreed to sell Bale to Madrid for £80m + Fabio Coentrão. That would mean that we spent £20 in total this summer and got half a new team of top class players. But obviously lost our best player. In AVB we trust! Also, saw we have been linked to an impressive young Bulgarian attacker called Nedelev for only about £3m. Interesting times

Not a rumour but god I do hope we are considering stocker from basel. He looks like he would suit the premier league brilliantly.
1.) I'd rather see Mohamed Salah playing for Spurs
2.) We've seen his capability against spurs but has anyone else seen him playing in the Swiss league?

So wimmer joins, never seen him play so have no idea if this is a good thing or another Fazio. surely nobody else can be that slow?
But should we expect more defensive signings? Has Poch really been turned off Davies and Walker? i'd love Clyne (no chance we would do that I feel).
Is there anyone interested in taking Adebayor and Soldado off our hands?
Final question, who actually brought in Davies, Stambouli and Fazio? Poch or Balders?

We've been talking about getting rid of the dead wood for the last 5 years and it never happens - what makes you think this year will be any different? The fact is ENIC run the club for profit and it's becoming increasingly difficult for mid table teams like us to flush out under-performing stars. I expect one or two to leave and a few 'untested, promising' young players to come in. Kane will score another 30 odd goals and will be sold next year to Utd.

Erik Lamela's brother (Brian) has tweeted that Erik is in London. Who knows how reliable that is, i'd be tempted to see how much rubbish I could get in the press in his position.
Would be a great signing. Overpriced, but hey the fees being quoted for bale are just as ridiculous.

jesus man, come back down to earth - we are building a new stadium and we do not have anywhere near the financial backing they do. The prices being paid for these players is ridiculous - most of whom are overrated. We can't afford to buy a £35 mill flop!
The whole point of getting Mitchell in is to find players early before their prices rocket, so we can do business within our budget.
Boufal looks a great option.

I agree, I'd be far more interested in bojan or even patrick bamford - giving young english players a shot has worked for us so far.

Ed? Articles out about someone bidding, doubt he'd come to us though surely, I'm a bit confused why he might be leaving Juve? He's been awesome for them.
{Ed008's Note - Tottenham haven't bidded for Carlos Tevez, the player wants a move to Boca Juniors that will likely happen next season once his contract expires. Juventus don't want to sell this summer but could be forced to if an offer comes in that suits them as they look to bring back Berardi and Zaza back to the club.
