any developments in our apparent interest in Bony eds?

lillywhite

{Ed008's Note - {Ed002's Note - I have told people on numerous occasions to ignore any discussion of "clauses". Just so it is clear, Swansea have no desire to sell Bony but have said that if they double what they paid for him they will talk to any bidding club and the player - and as a special treat, that puts it about £24M or so.}

1.) 21 Jul 2014 17:17:00
thanks for the mature reply

{Ed008's Note - It's a copy and paste info from the Liverpool page don't get offended!

2.) 21 Jul 2014 21:17:55
Value at £16m
Dangerous at £20m
Crazy at £24m

Let's hope Baldini and Levy can get him for £18m

3.) 22 Jul 2014 00:43:18
ahh, in that case my apologies!

4.) 21 Jul 2014 15:31:07
Hey Eds! Can you give us an update on Spurs' transfer season progress as in who they are seriously considering signing and if Spurs are seriously in for Griezman

{Ed002's Note - I don't have the time to do everything right now but there is interest in Griezmann from Spurs.}

5.) Thanks Ed 002

anything about this move for Stones have any truth eds?, think he would be an excellent acquisition, young and inexperienced but pair him with any of the current CB's and he'd be dandy. Also anything on Bony Eds? He's a player who'd slot in perfectly in front of Erikson with townsend and Lamela either side.

lillywhite

{Ed002's Note - There was interest but I doubt Everton would sell without a significant offer being made.}

1.) Everton fan here, you think we're going to sell Stones?.Why would we?.Dream on lad.

2.) Paul, Lots of clubs enquire about players. i'm not sure why your getting upset about someone asking a question

3.) 15 Jul 2014 09:47:52
Lilywhite, didn't you know you aren't allowed to ask about Everton players? It upsets the poor little Everton fans. Bless them.

4.) 15 Jul 2014 11:52:57
Sorry for any wrongdoing Paul, can we have him on loan instead? is that more your style

5.) Lol love the comments on this . are you a worried man Paul or would you like a man on loan from us to smooth this over for you . like rodwell, rooney, to name a few every player has a price on there head ( including our players ) and let's be honest you need the money!

6.) 15 Jul 2014 15:37:18
Poor old Everton fans getting defensive. If Tottenham Hotspur want him we shall get him its as simple as that, its only Everton. A few loans and you will be just fine.

7.) How arrogant, Tottenham ain't that big of a club are they, remind me was it 1961 you lot last won the league. don't forget spurs are a selling club an all and if u want stones you will have to pay big money to get him.

8.) Tj94 we might of only won the league in 61 granted you can have that one, but apart from your league success in the 80's have you won anything since then? ( please correct me if i'm wrong as I can't remember you winning anything lately if i'm wrong then i'm wrong) so we are a selling club errrr ( but you can't knock a chairman that gets big money for his players ) but please tj94 talk about calling the kettle black,, look at the post from me earlier doesn't that tell you that your in a bigger boat than us on that as like I said you need the money and well we have the money so if the price is right then he will be sold end of
also what is it with you toffees coming on here and giving it all this and that,, me thinks you are all getting worried chaps!

9.) Just throwing it out their that I am not an everton fan.

10.) Ha ah that's a bit awkward, he's got a point though: until we finish above them, how do we have a divine right to take their assets!

any more on our link with Darlow from forest?

lillywhite

1.) Lilywhite as posted ages ago by me below, the deal has been finalised. The truth is Levy and Baldini are so busy trying to sort out the bigger mess.

2.) The bigger mess being the one they created?

3.) Alright pal calm down, simple question

4.) The bigger mess as if we are a club in turmoil!?! Even after the "disaster" that has been our season we are on level points with the scousers. Understood we made a cupple poor transfer decisions but doesn't everyone? What do you people need to be apeased?

5.) The bigger mess will come in the summer if we fail to secure CL for next season. LLoris has apparently indicated he will review his situation and I can only think Verts tweet from Florence was not without some intent to create a reaction.

Add that to the smoke surrounding our "squad" players and there is a fire getting ready to flare up in the camp if we don't make top 4.

6.) The bigger mess is spending £109m on players who were unlikely to improve the team.

Soldado was never guaranteed to be better than Defoe or Adebayor.

Lamela than Lennon, Sigurdsson or Townsend.

Capoue was unlikely to improve upon Sandro, Dembele or even Holtby.

7.) It's pretty safe to say with few exceptions ie Messi, Ronaldo, that any player joining a team near the top of the PL is not necessarily going to be an upgrade on an existing player.

The mess was manager, DoF and Levy not seemingly being on the same page . the continued failure to address obvious weaknesses in the squad ie.LB while loading up with "box to box" midfield players being one obvious issue.

8.) Sorry Oracle, but Defoe isn't fit to lace Soldados boots! If AVB had played to his strengths, like Pellagrini does for Negrado, then we would see exactly how good a player he is!

hi eds any interest in Diego Costa on our part, or lack of champs league/ money rule us out?

lillywhite

{Ed002's Note - None.}

1.) 17 Jan 2014 13:50:32
dream on from a fellow spurs fan, arguably top 5 striker in the world atm.

17 Aug 2013 09:42:12
have we agreed a fee for the young Croatian eds? also and news regarding strikers we're currently looking at? {Ed002's Note - The situation is that the finances are agreed but the deal will not be completed until an agreement is reached about the player in terms of where he will spend this season, and if Dinamo have their way, the year after. Whatever happens, he will not move to Spurs before next summer.}

Eds do you think levy is eyeing a VDV type transfer this january?

lillywhite

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you mean by that.}

07 Jan 2015 00:10:47
what positions would you say spurs are seriously looking at? (strictly concerning January) and if any, names of those targeted

lillywhite

1.) 07 Jan 2015 01:29:25
Emmenike.

19 Dec 2014 14:02:55
Seydou Doumbia in Janaury is a possibility as CSKA are out of Champions League and finished fourth so no Europa League, would be a good acquisition

I really hope we don't miss out on Wilfried Bony, the man is awesome, him with townsend, erikson and lamela behind would be outstanding next season! Hopefully we don't miss out!
Anyone heard of us being linked? as of yet I have only heard other teams, the sadly being one

lillywhite

1.) 03 Jun 2014 23:02:58
Lukaku would be more preferable. Could've signed Bony for half the price a year ago instead of £26m on Soldado.

2.) 04 Jun 2014 12:57:15
Don't think Townsend will be here . Heard that Arry wanted him! Probably put him with al his ex hammers and ex spurs and reminisce about the good old days!

11 May 2014 23:04:56
any transfer links ed?
feel its been far too quiet for tottenham's standards, no Damiao yet thankfully! any players we're seriously looking at?

lillywhite

{Ed002's Note - Cuadrado, Lacazette, Hunt, Onazi, Min have been watched.}

I agree however I think Capoue instead of Sandro, although I like many spurs fans have mass amounts of love for the Brazilian, Capoue technically is far superior and him and dembele would be a formidable force!
Also Stones would be a fantastic buy behind them!
