You can understand them wanting a great team, but, all this talent, sat on a bench, will be such a waste.

I hope the financial fair play rules are enforced. As it stood at the end of last season Man City & Chelsea were still not complying. Now chelsea have spent an absolute fortune on transfers how on earth can they be allowed to play in europe, regardless of them being Champions League holders or not. Every other club has to comply to these rules - why don't they feel the need to?

Just coz you agree a fee, doesn't mean you are anywhere near getting a player! It just means other teams know an acceptable bidding level and then the player can choose who he wants to play for..... It isn't a hijacked deal by any means

Chelsea made a lot of money for winning the Champions League, most of the money spent on transfers this season was paid for by that. FFP compliance is in place :)

There's a loop-hole anyway isn't there? Just name the stadium 'The Roman hobby for spare billions arena' and it can be sponsored for whatever amount he wants to spend?
If they're not buying success along with Schitty then how come neither of them won anything/as much for tens of years BEFORE all the money. A bit of humility wouldn't go amiss, rather than them pretending the money is incidental to the trophies. They think we're dillusional for being optimistic about bigger signings, they're dillusional to think their history goes back further than the past few years. A name I haven't seen mentioned but in my opinion a fantastic replacement for modric, erikkson from Ajax? 20m wud prob do it!!

Would still prefer Motouinio or however you spell it, I think avb have Portuguese players their that know how he wants to play will help the rest of the team.

I went too Amsterdam recently and erikksons a huge star over there. It'd take more than 20m for ajax to sell. Also I think he's said already that he'l wants to stay at Ajax for now.

I mentioned it a while back when Levy was in speaking with Ajax ... Made a joke about sneaking him back in his suitecase xD
And while heatedly Agree he would be great even at such a young age.. Although I think perhaps is game is more CAM ?? Am I right eds ? Or anyone ?

Just heard from a reliable source that THFC are on the brink of signing oscar ! We have apparently bid 28m and it has been accepted with the view of a medical and personal terms and it will all be done .

I couldnt believe this news, looked like it was dead in the water for us but luckily not.

All true tottenham fan knows this will never happen. Any big moves r likely to depend on the sale of modric 1st. We may not even buy a replacement when we have the thudd in our ranks. Levy & avb may c this as an ideal solution and then spend the funds on much needed strikers.

Our bid was reportedly 11 mill there's no way we would offer another 17 mill
