Spurs will take Rodriguez as part of the Modric deal Madrid don't want that deal but will do it as they will put their usual 1st refusal buy back clause, still need 2 strikers stiil

Interesting how modric wants to leave se much and now real arnt willing to pay 35million only 27million so after all the trouble modric probally wont at all!

Won't happen he is seen as the nxt big thing in Spanish football. They have no need 2 let him go as part of the deal and are more likely 2 offer us the likes of diarra.

Who is Rodriguez?

Who is rodriguez, i've never heard of him {Ed001's Note - Madrid youngster.}

Yep Real see him as having the potential to be another Ronaldo, so it's unlikely they would want to sell him, maybe a loan deal
Maybe we should try for Morata or Joselu

Club is still pushing for Lloris;
Personally I would like Butland - but it really does seem a deal could be agreed this week, especially as the player is keen on making the switch.
Makes a nice change to go after a player who wants to join our club!

Vertonghen showed the world that it is not just about money. He wanted to play alongside vdv and nothing stood in his way.
All the brazillians, hazard (actually most of chavski signings) will go where the money is.
When pressed, Oscar didn't even know where chavski finished in the league last season. Says it all really.
I hope we get loris, but I think we have missed the boat with butland

Or was it a case of no other teams tried to sign vertonghen so there was no choice for him to make

Def a gooner poster above.
Green eyed monster!

Guy who says Vertonghen had no other options has actually got a point, Jan and his agent admitted they had two contracts offerd, one from Spurs and one from his old club Ajax.

Ryan babel couldn't get a game for Liverpool and now hoffenhiem so why the hell would he get a game for us. He's useless

I've read this too somewhere. Not the price, I just read that we were interested.

When babel went to liverpool it was to be the next big thing and even in the cl he had a few moments but never seemed to do in the epl.
but on a serious note.............ace??? wtf
Agree3
Disagree0
He couldnt get into a Liverpool side that back then were a force, they had Alonso, Gerrard, Torres and were a force in the CL, he has got talent, just inconsistent. Would be a good signing for Spurs, not to start but a good impact player.

Is there a reason none of posts have been printed since the benders warming up post ? anyway, heres the deal.....imo, falcao never going to happen, i will eat my own balls if it does.
moutinho seems to be the name everyone is talking about, but again idk,
i'd rather keep modric and ruin his career for being such a c###.

My brother is a good friend of Allan Mcgregor and he was speaking to him last night and he said that his agent was in London having talks, he couldn't say which club at the moment but my brother asked him if it was Spurs and he didn't deny it that's for sure. I'd say it's either us or West Ham but hope it's us!

Who's allan mcgregor? {Ed007's Note - Ex-Rangers GK. Besiktas have said they have agreed a deal with him.}

From Glasgow and have attended a lot of Rangers games. he would be a brilliant signing

Rangers and Tottenham fan. Too many mistakes and getting on a bit. If he can stay fit, we would be much better signing Craig Gordon, believe me, he is a better keeper by far.
Craig

You need your head looked at mate, too many mistakes? Howler against Celtic in 1st old firm last season and in a friendly for Scotland against Denmark I think and thats about all the mistakes I can remember, the guy is a top class keeper and Craig Gordon is a decent keeper when fit but not a patch on McGregor!!
Agree1
Disagree6
I need my head looked at? Aberdeen away? Ricky Foster? Through his arms... again. Body position is wrong most of the time, flaps at every cross he comes for, good shot stopper don't get me wrong, but not Tottenham class. Gordon is and always will be the better keeper of the two, and I am a Rangers fan saying that.
Craig

10x better than gordon and is always fit. one of the best keepers in Britain when on form which is normally all the time, trust me watch him
Agree0
Disagree2
Ok mate, I was at every Rangers game bar 4 last season, he isn't one of the best keepers in Britain. Not even the best in Scotland last year. And he will never be better than Gordon. I assume you are probably one of these 'fans' who think Steven Davis was the most inspirational captains of the last 20 years. Clueless. Not that our opinions will matter for Spurs as we won't sign either keeper.
