Agreed, Modric saying there's a gentleman's agreement if they get a concrete offer from a 'big' club make sme laugh, did he think that meant the offer could be a pathetic one. Chelsea paid £50milion for Torres to be a donkey for 6months, Scousers paying up to £20million for Henderson who is miles from the real deal yet and Carrick was £18million+ a few years ago. £30million plus Drogba or no deal.

Spurs will not deal with Chelsea. As for Lyon there's been speculation about Pjanic but that's because of Modric, Lisandro Lopez and Michel Bastos are possible targets although there's quite a few clubs interested in Bastos in particular {Ed001's Note - Bastos has been talking about London maybe an exciting place to live...}

Sorry guys, the other day I informed you that leandro was a done deal. Unfortunately I was misinformed by someone jumping the gun. We did have a bid accepted around the £12 million mark however the reason he hasn't come is because they wouldn't let him come till January and that really doesn't suit us. Sorry for getting your hopes up.

Juve & both milan clubs have made contact with spur sbaout modric, according to newspaper reports in italy. according to the reports it seems spurs will only sell him to another club in italy or spain and that juve are the front runners for him as they are willing to go up to 35 million
Looks like he'll never play for us again, so get rid as quick as poss and preferably abroad

It appears that Levy and Redknapp are resigned to losing Modric, but would prefer to sell the player overseas. They are willing to negotiate with Chelsea, but would insist on Sturridge coming to the lane as part of the deal. Sturridge is not sold on the idea so the stand off continues.

Mr Redknapp will hand in a resignation this week. Word is that him and Levy are having a disagreement about Modric and how to build the team for the future.

Leandro Damiao signed new long term deal. Looks like we're getting left behind yet again. Can't see a top 4 finish for some years now. Too much uncertainty at the club. No one knows what's happening with stadium, Everyone is waiting for Harry to take England job and rumours keep surfacing of a take over. Back to the bad old days of underachievement

It seems levy has informed some of europes big clubs they can have modric as long as they pay 35 million in cash and include at least 1 of their players aswell. it seems chelsea would have to include drogba, utd = nani, city = da silva, madrid = benzima, also expect to see us sign samba from blackburn with keane and maybe bentley going the other way
