It appears Levy is working on a cheap deal to bring Daniel Toribio in. A former Barca youth player he now plays in the lower leagues in Spain but Pochettino is looking at a handful like him that he believes he can transform. I don't have any of the other names, but one is Asian. The Toribo deal would be just hundreds of thousands and no more than that.
Also an enquiry was made about Elia from Werder Bremen, but the price was so far over the valuation it was not pursued further.
Carlos Clerc will be monitored throughout this season with a view of making a bid next year as will Boix, both of Espanyol, although Clerc has gone out on loan. Pochettino has known Clerc's family since he was a kid.
A well respected journalist I know is good friends with a mutual friend of a colleague of Pochettino's agent.
