I have just been told by a friend that the deal for Hazard is nearly complete. I thought this would be too early but he said it will be announced in the next month. Is this correct Ed? {Ed001's Note - no idea, I doubt it though, he has been busy whoring himself out to everyone, I am sure he will hang on for the biggest wage he can get for a while yet.}

I never know who to believe any more about these stories. Typical players talking again to get the best deal. I also heard again on the grapevine that Levy has been looking at Huntelaar - would be a great to have him but lets face it how much will our kitty be in the summer? {Ed001's Note - it all comes down to the stadium, there is plenty of money in Spurs, but the need for a new stadium makes it difficult to spend it and then have to raise more financing for the stadium.}

Your not wrong there, we really need the new stadium to increase revenue, but saying that. Arsenal have been ground to a halt having to sell players to gain profit. Are we in the financial situation to do this? Are any of the take over rumours true? would not like an american company to come in, but someone from Qatar would raise the bar quite a bit. I'd imagine the uncertainty over harry is gonna play a major part in any transfers. I mean, Harry could want to by Huntelaar, but whichever replacement Levy has sounded out might not want him and want a different player instead,

Hazard has been agreed since Jan transfer window. The move will be at the end of the season as he wants to see out his season there.

I don't think 3 players is enough to turn us into title challengers,If u look at City & utd squad they have able back-up in every position & rotate there squad accordingly. It's no coincidence that utd always seem the fresher side on title run in.
Harry prefers to play same side wk in wk out which is all well & good but can lead to complacency when there's no pressure on a player for his position eg. Ekotto walker Bale, then if players are tired they lose concentration & mistakes happen. I'm not calling whole sale changes every game but a balance has to b struck for us to progress. If the likes of Benny & modric could b given a rest every 1 in 6 or 7 games they would b a lot fresher foe 2nd half of season.
In my mind we would b better off not going after hazard at his price. A lot of people have been raving about munian & llorente & they are quality but will have a Que of clubs lined up to give them wages we don't pay but there is other Spanish yougsters out there who haven't had the spotlight thrust onto them yet. Watching the euro u-19 last summer 2 players stood out for Spain Pablo sarabia( who r Madrid sold to getafe) & Alvaro morata who's still at r Madrid & in my eyes the best striker of his age group in Europe & should b definately b on our radar b4 he becomes a household name,he has the ability to make soldado negrodo & llorente to look ordinary in comparison in few yrs time, Think llorente ability to hold ball up with poaching & pace of a young Torres & it would best explain him.
Then there's the likes of Isco at malaga, I remember watching iniesta & silva at same age & they weren't as good as Isco is at same age. This is dragging on a bit but my point is in certain cases u don't have to spend a fortune to get top talent its just a matter of identifying these players.
To go back to your 3 fantasy signings I have heard Huntelar rumour to & we definately need a proven goalscorer. There looks like there's going to b a big turnaround in playing squad likely to leave,so we could b looking at something like 12out 10 in which is always a bit dangerous to do but has to b done.
So players out gallas bassong Dawson( 2nd time that ankle has gone its going to keep Going ) bentley jenas krankj( hel probably want to go for 1st team football) gio saha nelson Ade( I have a lingering doubt that if we sign him wel get the ADE v arsenal utd & not the good 1) gomes.
