Question for Ed. Danny rose has turned into a class wing back is he the most likely replacement for BAE? Or are spurs interested in any other left backs? {Ed008's Note - I would think he goes straight into the team unless AVB has other targets in mind. Assou-Ekotto is likely to be sold.

Danny Rose will return and be sure some first team exposure, and don't forget Ezekiel Fryers who looks very special indeed. Having said that I have a feeling that Bale will go, and perhaps Coentrao and Higuain will be used as make weights in a deal.

Khumalo is also looking ready to step into the first team at centre back. That could see Vertonghen take the LB role if we manage to keep hold of Bale, particularly when you consider the return of Kaboul and the form of Dawson this season.

Whatever happens the summer will certainly be an entertaining period.

Khumalo might want to return but is he good enough! I say put Fryers in now, supposed to be special and play Vert with Kaboul in the centre. Two CH's able to pass the ball, can tackle and have pace, just what we need!

Heung Min Son has been mentioned here a couple times already. Not sure what I think of him but

[If Son won't extend, we'll sell him, " the former Chelsea sporting director told Sport Bild. ] - Arneson

If we want him this summer and he doesn't extend his contract it seems like a Levy buy. Short contract, low fee, young, potential, and good resale price. I for one wouldn't mind as it would open asia to our shirt sales. Look what Ji sung did for manu

Would be happy with him sounds a good prospect and is defiantly someone we would buy.
Do you really care about shirt sales though? How many sold in England and Wales this year?
Answer: I'm guessing F knows!

Agree2 Disagree2

Let me respond to your question with a question. Why wouldn't you want more funds for the club to use? I see this as a way to earn more to keep up with competitive wages in the epl. aka stop losing our good players to bigger paychecks

RY

Agree1 Disagree2

Because its none of my concern as a football fan. I'm not interested in watching a well run business year in year out I'm interested in watching the mighty spurs play, regardless of how much they earn each week. I'd rather players who want to play for us be at our side and not players who want loads of money only, let the chavs and city have them.
On top of that does the money coming into the club appear to be reinvested into the squad? Admittedly we have been reported to have broken our wage structure with Ade signing and Bale improved contract.
So now I answered your question do you fancy answering mine or do you wanna avoid it with another question?

Agree2 Disagree4

Yes I care about shirt sales. It adds revenue for many purposes. I want a bigger lilywhite army waving our colours.

Any news on Lennons or Dembeles injuries and whether or not either or both will miss Chavski game? also anything interest on the transfer fronts?

Thanks {Ed008's Note - I got the impression both of them picked up little knocks but can only wait till Wednesday to see. With regards to transfers I will ask Ed002 to give an update during the week on it.

All out attack against a less mobile side. Dembele was in Amsterdam last night but the rumour is he will be in the squad. Lennon also appears to be back in training and hopefully for our sake they are both ready. Even Scott Parker is training again, so it sounds like a game of cat and mouse.

GK - Lloris
LB - BAE
CB - Vertonghen
CB - Dawson
RB - Walker
CM - Dembele
CM - Parker
LM - Sigurdson
CAM - Bale
RM - Lennon
CF - Defoe

Spurs victory with a scintillating performance.

The Thrush cannot even get the starting 11 right

If you actually read what I wrote, you might notice the fact regarding Dembele being in Amsterdam. I wrote rumoured to be in the squad, my point was why he was still in Holland. So clearly my fears were right and we played Huddlestone and Holtby instead.
