Damiao interest has cooled, doubt we will see a bid for him, if anyone makes a bid for him it will be Southampton.

But we do need 2. got to feeling we'll jump back in for Damaio when we fail to get Benteke.
I think if we don't sign him and saints do then that could be a mistake. If he goes on to be another Michu or Benteke it'll be a missed opportunity.

Yer difference is though benteke and michu cost lyk 10 mill for both were as they want 20 mill jus for damiao so personally I think its nothing lyk them deals u jus stated but its a lot bigger risk.!
Yeah fair comment (him costing a lot more than both together). I wasn't saying I wanted us to sign him just that you can see him becoming a Epl top scorer if he goes elsewhere and we'd slate levy for not making the deal happen.
We won't be selling you Benteke unless you pay us about £30m. We at Villa are in no rush to sell him considering his worth will rocket if he has another great season & world cup!
Damiao is off to Napoli, and benteke £30mill after just 1 decent season ( not just in epl but in his career). I would go £12-15mill tops! Now Soldado he's got to be worth £20mill or Gomez at £15 mill would be much better options IMO.
I don't know about Beteke. but agree only one season in EPL. 30 mill?. no way. spend that on Torres. Soldado. or a proven world class goal scorer

That's our point - we have bumped up Benteke's price because he isn't simply worth that much right now - so no-one will buy him!
