Look at Danny Rose giving it big b*******, saying he won't return to spurs if it means him sitting on the bench! Finally got a few starts under his belt and he thinks he is god's gift. He ain't good enough anyway, would rather have BAE and that is saying something!
To original poster, he is much better than Assou-Ekotto, and you would be foolish not to want him back next season.

You read that much into a quote from an article? How can you blame him for wanting first team football, he's 22 and good enough to start for a mid-table prem club. He will be good enough, with some more game time. Calm down.
He can't be any worse than Benny and it seems he has done well at Sunderland, we certainly need a quality first choice lb rather than Benny, whether Rose can be that player is another matter
