Problems at Spurs....

Friedel; Doesn't know how to come out and claim a cross. Does not know how to make world class saves. His distribution is very poor.

Saha; Plays with no hunger (because of his age) and is soon due an injury.

Harry; Took him till we were 3-0 down to make his first substitute. Does not know a thing about tactics.
We reduce our wage bill only for Harry to bring it back up again by signing Friedel, Saha and Nelson.

Can't pick a team, starts our top goalscorer on the bench and looks like he does not give a shi* if we win or lose.
Would not make it into the top 5 managers in the premier league.

So there you have it......the main problems at Tottenham...

It's good to see that you guys judge your success based on Arsenal's position.

I have always hated it when fans of other clubs have some sort of delusions of grandure because they feel their club is some how better than it is, wanting instant sucsess. Unless you have a billionaire owner it take time to build a club that will have a lasting legacy, just look at the likes of Ranger, Portmouth and Leeds and over spend at your peril.
Bare in the finatial fair play rules coming in soon and so patients aswe are building a sustainable club that will have years of sucsess because we are run well.
So lets not become one of the clubs that calls for the managers heads after two or three bad results.

If we turn it around and beat everton and at the very least with them manager less take a point off Chelsea ... I reckon we will still be very much on track for 3rd still ...
We where very much unlucky ... Against united Ade getting in the way the penalty shout which should have stood turned down and Defoe scoring would have drawn is level .... But do not dwell on the past ... The next game is winnable and to keep the 4 point gap for the rest of the season with who arsenal have to play and the way Chelsea don't know what it means to keep a manager for more than 8 months ... Its not all lost is what I'm trying to say recovering from a hang over 21sts eh xD

Lets all hope we take 3 points against Everton. That is a massive game for us.
Yid for life!

Guys i'm not saying Harry is a bad manager, I appreciate everything he has done for our club but i do feel its time for a change. Harry looked lost when he come up against 2 world class managers in Arsene and Fergie.

Naz, we've been looking for a keeper for ages now, ever since Gomes was blundering. All the big clubs have world class keepers and we don't. When we lose we lose heavy because Friedel is not capable of making world class saves.
Real madrid have Casilas, Barcelona have Valdes, Chelsea have Cech, Bayern have neuer, Utd have de Gea, Arsenal have shezney and we have friedel. This season he has been given the credit when really its been down to class defending from Kaboul and goals and assists from Ade.

I totaly understand where all of you are coming from though.

Naz - dawson is an awkward one. Theres the whole hoof ball thing, and while king's pace has gone daws is hardly usain bolt. just thinking about him v aguero against city makes me wince. Plus, he and kaboul are both predominantly right-sided defenders, so one has to play slightly out of position.

I think if the last two games have shown anything its we should have brought a top class striker in January . Yes , Ade is good , so is Defoe but they are not the top of the class , like Rooney , or dare I say it , Rvp . We make a lot of chances but dont convert enough , enabling teams to nick points off us as Man u did yesterday . Wether its Arry's fault or Levy's I dont know , but not signing a top class striker could seriously cost us . But at the end of the day , we are still third , its still 4 points so lets not get downhearted over it .

Guys I don't really get the problem with Saha; he hasn't looked too bad, he's grabbed a few goals and he's won a few headers (something defoe never does).

Nelson seems like a bit of a strange signing to be honest, but I guess we just wanted cover for bassong; hopefully at the end of the season nelson will be released, allowing caulker to come into the squad.

As for King, I can see where you're coming from Naz. However, I still think that he is probably a brilliant figure to have in the dressing room, and will help Caulker to improve as a player; however, for games against the very top opposition, he should probably be rested.

And don't criticise Harry too much. Yes he should have made subs sooner, and yes he's lost 2 games in a row, but if someone had said we'd be 4 points above arsenal and in 3rd place at this stage of the season, I would have been delighted.

Jermain,

I agree with a lot of what you say but not with this post.

Friedel has been far more consistent than Gomes and is better than Cudicini. He has been great for us and The goals were not his fault.

I would prefer Defoe upfront, he gets lost in games but give him a chance and 90% of the time, he will take it.

Harry has intelligence, you cannot get 3rd in the league on management skill alone.

I do agree he needs to use subs more often and at earlier stage. We have a great subs bench, bring on 2 people at 70mins and hope it changes the game! Dos santos, Defoe and Kranjcar should all have come on in my opinion.

we are a place higher than we targeted, we are above Arsenal. Harry has done his job, and done it well.

I may get crucified for saying this, but I think Dawson should be playing instead of King now. Watching the last two games and King cannot keep up the pace with the faster strikers now. Maybe it's time for Kaboul and Dawson to show what they got

Naz

And who would be above harry after what he's done and still doing consistently now? Fergie, Mancini, and equal with him maybe pardew for what he's done with a limited newcastle side, and wenger for what he's done in the past. Friedel is 2nd for the golden glove! harry does know about tactics, what about stoke when we were getting battered and he changed to 3 at the back, which, had we not been Foy'd, would have at least fought back for the draw? At 2 nil down yesterday at least, we were the better team apart from conceding sloppy goals and not finishing. All the players looked good in some form, and I certainly couldn't think who to take off. Yesterday was an example of why United are Champions, they finished their chances and defended well. Finally, do you really think saha, friedel and nelsen are on the same wages as people like Keane, and Pienaar were? I normally respect your opinion jermain, but this one is well out.

I'm sick and tired of supporters coming on giving it large this is the best side we have had in the 25 years I've watched spurs leave Harry alone he deserves the credit he's due

Friedel has made save after save all season long...

Saha has hunger (he wants to earn a new deal and a place in the France squad). Sadly, he just isn't as good as Defoe

After two bad results I think Harry deserves a bit more credit. Where were we before him again, I forget...?

What does a manager have to do before he gets some leeway for bad results?!

What were we aiming for this season?

And where are we?

Case closed.
