We're a step closer to signing 20m soldado (spurs media watch) now Baldini has left Roma, now we can get him on board! Spurs targets: Hulk, Dimiao and villa and possibly Benteke

Well if baldini has left Roma surely that must be cause he's coming to Spurs ready for transfer dealings to commence.

Don't forget Martinez, Rebic, Rodrigo, Negrado, Heung-Min and Benitez

Hulk signed for Zenit for well over £30m if people really believe we are going to spend anything like that on one player are absolutely brainless

Hulk actually signed for a reported £48mill. Chavs will get him to replace Torres. Bloody shame. can't see us signing a massive name, more like an up & coming £15mill striker to bolster what we have. Adewont have a season as poor as that again if he stays (not that I want him too.

So it's looking very likely Franco Baldini will arrive, probably delayed because Levy was waiting for him to be sacked so he didn't have to pay any compensation for him. Looking at the signings he has made, I'm not very excited, bar Lamela and Pjanic

Still would rather have him negotiating than levy

Why would he go to liverpool, they are going to lose suarez and not in europe

Yes, one has been top 4or5 for 6 out of 8 seasons and generally improving, having cut net spend completely in the past 2-3years, the other is Liverpool.

Tottenham have offered Aston Villa Jermaine Defoe plus 11 million for Benteke.

The deal is looking very promising according to sources

I can't see that happening for one simple reason, Lambert didn't pick bent because his all-round game is poor & he wanted someone who could hold the ball-up & bring others into play hence he went with benteke, now does bent sound familar to defoe. yep
If it was someone like townsend or siggurdson been used in exchange it might happen but not Defoe

Sounds just like a made up story, I doubt Defoe has any clue about it and very much doubt Spurs have either
Funny, although there's lots of links to Benteke in the press there doesn't seem any rumours coming out of the club to support this

We won't do that defoe was great this season before getting injured need someone like benteke along side him give them ade

If Benteke would be sold to any club - I'd rather it be Spurs, benteke & bale - just dreamy! It'll probably be next summer we sell Bentekkers though guys, seems like he is putting pen to paper on a new deal next week.

We will charge you massive fee's for Benteke, which will probably be about £30-35m which I admit even as a Villa fan he is not worth right now.

Personally I would be happy if defoe was sold his not getting younger, his getting injured every season and doesn't hold up the ball as good as we need him to do.

Sigurdson there is no way, personally I think sigurdson has played very well this season he really came along in the second half of the season, he's first team quality he's great LM ill bet AVB will use him a lot next season

There you go - We have put a £40m price tag on him. Now good luck trying to find £40m in players to swap us for him.

I agree we should keep siggurdson & my point was I can't see Paul Lambert wanting Defoe but might b interested if siggurdson or townsend were offered + money, personally I think It's a made up piece of bs & at Villa asking price I don't think w'ed b interested & if we were willing to pay that kind of money it would b on someone like soldado instead of benteke.
