{Ed008's Note - All depends if 4th place is achieved and Chelsea don't win the CL. Realistically Harry needs to commit to the club before moving forward that's why Spurs haven't spent big last couple of seasons. Can defo see investment in the team in the summer if that's the case.

According to the daily telegraph, which i would consider slightly more trustworthy journalism, our targets are junior hoilett, jan verthongen and eden hazard. I think these are realistic for us as I am of the opinion that Levy has cash to spend for players that will improve the team, but he's not gonna waste it needlessly. Hoilett is young with good potential, and in Levy's eyes, will have a potential transfer profit. I think we are in need of more pace out wide so obviously we will be sniffing around Hazard, especially if Bale leaves (imo he'll stay). Also I think we need some more solidity, pace and athleticism at the back so Verthongen would fit the mould perfectly.
It still leaves the situation of a centre forward with Adebayor still needing to prove he can score goals when he's needed, but is going to be freely available if we don't take him. I don't think Loic Remy will be going anywhere so it's hard to see who is available to us really... Except Berbatov?!
Other targets that have been banded about are players like Adam Johnson and Nigel De Jong, but i'm not sure whether any business is wise with City.
Any thoughts?
Bring in Bains lb vertogen cb hazard if possible Daimo striker with Ba and bebatov. push caulker and naughton into squad next season and we will be lot stronger.

-Sounds like a wish to me. Both Vermaelen and Vaart have connections to Jan. At tottenham he would be an immediate starter. At arsenal he would play regularly (even with Verm and Metesecker starting)as they have one of the worst defensive injury records for the last two years. If he wants to stay out of the treatment room and play he should come to WHL.
