Thank in advance

Con

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Of course they are. Every Tom, Dick and Harry with a fat pocket is.

Agree2 Disagree3

No we are not ,ask ed002 and see the reply something like...modric ?

Agree1 Disagree1

But just cause he wont talk about it dont mean we're not interested it could mean we are interested but he doesn't want to answer a thousand questions about modric so he wont tell us.

Agree0 Disagree1

Not surprised he don't want answer the same questions over an over again an poor old modric must have to flames burning each side of his head into his brain his ears must be roasting

Agree0 Disagree0

Eds like most people ,if you bang your head enough, its going to hurt after a while isnt it,hes NOT and NEVER was chelsea bound .....ggggrrrrrrr

My thoughts, based on what i've heard and what I know.

We're likely to see the following leave before the close of the transfer window (some likely before the start of the season):

VDV - sold to any one of three clubs in Germany for around £12m.
Gallas - will be mutually released from his contract (he will earn another payday elsewhere and knows that he is likely to be 5th/6th down the pecking order for CB positions).
Modric - future hangs in the balance, AVB / Levy will try to retain him but are prepared to lose him if necessary.
Bassong, Jenas, Bentley, GDS and Gomes are all available for transfer but will also be given the opportunity to prove their ability to new management.
Ledley King, who is likely to retire has been offered a non-playing role at the club. I've also been told that Carlo Cudicini will be asked to join the coaching staff, due to his previous relationship with AVB and will also retain player status (albeit only in a back up / domestic cup / Europa League role) as Spurs attempt to integrate the new club ethos

As is common knowledge, Spurs would rather sell Modric abroad but have already identified possible options if a deal is to be done with either Chelsea or Man Utd. The interest in Sturridge is definite and a player + cash deal could be brokered but only on Spurs terms, as their is a very raw relationship between the two clubs at boardroom level.

I've not got much else in terms of targets, but I do know that Vertonghen is very much on AVB's wishlist and will be concluded at the nearest possible date. On the Siggurdsson deal, I have no idea to be honest, but I know that there are some very high profile targets in sight as Spurs attempt to challenge next season and beyond and much of this has been on the agenda for some time, even months before Redknapp officially left his position.

Believe what you will (and I guarantee that not all of it will happen), but the individual that fed me this information also told me that AVB was done and dusted in the second week of June, and i'm now £3k to the good at odds of 12-1.

'61 Kid {Ed001's Note - the odds were 25-1 when I said he was first choice, shame you waited.}

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Please tell me you lumped on ed001.... {Ed001's Note - I don't gamble, but one of the other editors did.}

Agree1 Disagree1

Is avb manager or coach ?

Agree1 Disagree2

Head Coach.

Agree1 Disagree0

Levy is trying a dramatic double swoop for Oscar & Damiao for about 30m.
Agree with post above but i told you all that on the 10th June, Vertonghen will go through, a new young goalkeeper, two midfielders and two striker are on the way. Friedel, Modders and VDV to leave................... Zac

Agree2 Disagree1

Friedal is not leaving - though fully expect young keeper to come in. Can't see VDV leaving. He isn't fussed about leaving and doubt we are terribly fussed about selling him. He would only leave if we wanted to cash in. Agree that Modric will 100% leave... please Levy don't put us through a Berbatov transfer again... get him out early to a Continental club, certainly not Chavski.

Agree1 Disagree2

Friedel wont be between the sticks for much longer, new goalie or gomez

Agree0 Disagree1

I think VDV will go back to Germany to be with his wife. The notion of training and competeing for his starting place will probably not appeal under AVB. Also suspect he might be the first to throw his toys out of the pram if AVB doesn't start him...so the decision could be to cash in now and remove the possible turmoil.

Agree1 Disagree0

His wife prefers it here in London so that wont be an option to him just yet and he is a quality LOYAL player...

Avb has been spotted at the barca b team watching sergi gomez, a solid looking centre back. He could be the next gerard pique at a bargain price if we could get him.
source - www.talksport.co.uk

Believable6 Unbelievable6

But he's in London.

Agree9 Disagree1

I just see him in London buying an umbrella an looking for a new job in advance

Agree7 Disagree2

I dont mean he was spotted today, it was in the last few weeks

Agree3 Disagree0

Fontas and Bartra are the CB's that are the ones we should be interested in, although prising them away won't be easy

Agree0 Disagree0

Cause you did!

Agree1 Disagree0

Everyone looks at Barca B players!

Avb in london..ssn

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Lots of reports that a noon announcement is scheduled, am really excited at the prospect of this appointment and look forward to the coming weeks and season ahead.

Agree3 Disagree2

Thats what i said last year ,turned into a nightmare.....

Agree4 Disagree5

Lets hope its the right appointment first as avb will be a good manager as we already have a good team in place . defo a striker (s) and cd midfielder and we should challange for alot this year and dont be hasty on the negativaty as it will all come good as 1 avb wasnt given time 2 he had an ageing squad which was sent in its own ways and only want jose fact !
so roll on later today / tomorrow and looking forward to the season ahead
bea

Agree2 Disagree3

Last season was a nightmare??? second best points total ever in a premier league season, another top 4 finish and a cup semi final!! What were you after?? Spurs don't need fans like you! Every spurs fan would have taken that this time last year. I think your expectations may be a little high fellow yid. Lets be a little realistic about the end result and not get bogged down with how it might have been.

Agree6 Disagree0

Setantasports are claiming its now official can anyone confirm, can't find it on any other site.

Agree1 Disagree0

B4 all the haters start saying avb out look at your shirt and remember we want the team to win no matter who is the manager i for one want avb to be the best most successful manager in our history. levy has taken a gamble but he wouldnt be such a successful guy if he didnt take a risk coys 4ever

Agree6 Disagree2

Alternatively, he could be a Chelsea fan!

The sun are reporting that AVB when he is announced is interested in Oscar from Internacional but they are holding out for £20mil, dont really know much about him?? other than that he is an attacking midfileder but if he comes from the same club as Sandro and Damiao then he cant be too bad.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Oscar loos like a quality lil player but would wonder if he would need time to settle in the squad like sandro did...but signings like this would send a message to the supporters that good things are to come .also sturridge for 10 mil isnt a bad deal either..hes not great but is young and was very good under avb..

Agree4 Disagree1

Do agree that sturridge could be a great investment and AVB did seem to get the best out of him, 3 up front next season Sturridge on right Bale on left and someone new up top!!

Agree5 Disagree1

Dont think chelsea will be selling us any players just like we wont be selling them any

Agree2 Disagree0

You can have meireles if you like ...

Agree0 Disagree0

No thanks

Daily Fail saying Higuain could be part of Modric deal
shorty

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Not possible cause Madrid have agreed on a straight swop with man u for the little pea from what iv heard

Agree2 Disagree8

It's not possible because of what you've heard? In other words it is a possibility

Agree2 Disagree1

The guy above is obviously a nervouse united fan.....

Agree2 Disagree2

"not possible" cause my rumour is better than your rumour. Listen to yourself pal.

Djr

Agree2 Disagree3

Man s**tty want Higuain. He's not going to go anywhere where he can't play champions league football.

Agree3 Disagree1

Ok maybe I should of said not possible because it's spurs an there not in the champions league an that there best days left along with Harry.if you ask me I'd say you lot are nervouse an so you should be with avb as your manager lol.

Agree3 Disagree2

If I was a spurs fan I'd be calling for Daniel levy to get a fitness test on his brain worrying times for you guys

Agree3 Disagree3

I'm not worried - is that all you came on here for?

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah y not
