Ed, the loan window opens next week.
I assume that is for football league clubs only.
Is that correct?? {Ed008's Note - Yes Football League only.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I can't believe what that sl8g Levy is doing with the club.As for the fans saying he has worked wonders,he runs the club well, not forgetting the "Give AVB time" mob.We will NEVER win the league with Levy.

Agree6 Disagree6

Get a grip mate we last won the league in 61!!

Eds.... Do you or have you thought about holding a spurs debate night.. Probably get a few ex players alone. You could charge for the entry to fund the event
Mr g {Ed008's Note - This is funny because I don't know whether he's being serious or not lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

?????? I was serious
Mr g {Ed008's Note - Erm I'm sure other fans can get involved in the discussion I don't know how that it can be possible...

Agree1 Disagree0

When was we at our most dangerous and feared by opponents last year. Simple, stick Lennon out on the right and Bale down the left. Stop complicating things trying to put them in this triangle 3 and less effective in the crowded middle. Is taking away from our threat and leaving us more open. Wasting Defoe playing on his own. Stick a partner up with him and he thrives and always a threat. We have the players, just don't complicate things.

Agree5 Disagree3

About. mr g..dont be such a tosspot..give MY team Spurs a chance.......you do like to ne fickle...dimwit ....... yidade

Hi Ed.
Question or you. What is going on with llorente??
Not in the bilbao squad again.
Death threats apparently.
And we thought it was tough at spurs.
Is there any way he can get out of his contract.
I'm not saying this for him to join us, because if he was a free player, we would be a long way back in the que.
just a shame I see a good player wasted like this. {Ed008's Note - It looks like the club will leave Llorente in the reserves till January which will be unfair on him. Real Madrid and Barcelona could move for the player in January aswell.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Llorente to the spuds, ha don't make me laugh!, wake up it's a dream.

Agree3 Disagree5

Hey you obviously need to learn to read.
My original post.
Now read it, it says we would be a long way back in the que.
I would never expect him to go to spurs even if we had a bid accepted.
Typical moron, read a post before you open your trap.
Thick or what.

Agree6 Disagree0

My original post Ed, I agree that barca and Madrid will be in for him in January.
Europes elite will fight fit him, especially if he is free
By the way, elopes elite counts out arsenil and the chavs.

Hi Eds. Am reading that Spurs are interested in Dzagoev of CSKA. Papers are quoting 25m but I thought he was rated at around 13m with his contract due to expire at the end of the year. Did he sign a new contract after the Euros with CSKA?

Hass {Ed002's Note - He agreed a new contract.}

Ed002,
what deals do you see spurs completing before Friday's d/d?
I'm concerned. There seems a lack of a clear, well defined and coordinated approach to recruitment.
Please answer ed.

ba {Ed002's Note - Dembele is attracting interest.}

Anybody else think we should move for anelka now hes a free agent {Ed008's Note - AVB fell out with the player when Chelsea boss quite old now and past it in my opinion.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Stop talking tosh about Hudds. AVB did the same with Chelski players and you saw the response with them. He is upsetting Spurs players now. Bale looks wasted and lost, Walker not the same, players looking lost. The Manager not setting the team up and negative tactics. What was Levy and the Board thinking. Will be surprised if he lasts past October let alone Christmas.

Agree4 Disagree4

Would prefer drogba and even Owen over Anelka

On the spurs website Dempsey is down in the strikers section so we must be playing him as a striker, which in my opinion be good cause defoe is useless for lone striker i reckon after the international break ade and dempsey be first choice strikers defoe be 3rd

Believable4 Unbelievable0

AVB was partly to blame for Hudds sending off. Doing what he did at Chelsea, upsetting players and then they are in a poor frame of mind. We need to take note of last season and get this clown out quick and you see the results it had on Chelsea last season. Get someone in who understands the English game and knows what he is doing. All this nonsense about give him time. Anyone could of managed this squad to at least two home wins against mediocre opposition - you don't need time for that.

Agree3 Disagree7

Watching dire football again. No attacking flair, just going back all the time and barely creating any chances. It was poor at times with Harry but even then we would create loads of chances and at least try and attack. With International break time to get a new man in now.

Agree4 Disagree5

Quote: "AVB was partly to blame...."
Are you for real? he got sent of because he is a f*****g useless lump who cannot tackle, cannot head and has all the movement of a worn out slug.
Im only sorry that Stoke didnt take him on loan, GEDDIT? STOKE CITY wanted him, not Man U, Chelski, City, The Gooners etc etc. Does that not tell you that he isnt THAT good?
Super Y*d

Agree8 Disagree3

I don't think the answer is to get AVB out. Yes he's upset some players and witht he changes and some big names actually having left things are volatile right now. But this will die down. Unlike at Chelsea he's not trying to turn the entire team over.

For me the issue is that he is trying to be too defensive. 4231 with two holding midfielders is too static as the wide men get too far from the action and that forces them to cross (which isn't going to work to defoe as a lone striker). 4213 is better, but neither Lennon nor Bale are that sort of player - they need to start deeper to use their pace to get in behind.

I was pleased to see Dembele come on in one of the '2' as that made us more dynamic, but not a lot more. When Ade came on from Sig that opened the space for Dembele and that gave us the goal. Shortly after we switched back to 4231 with Hudd coming on for Defoe and we are back under pressure like the first half.

We need to be more attacking - 4141 or 4132 with Sandro/Parker as the holding midfielder and Dembele further up - against midtable teams.

Wulf.

Agree4 Disagree0

Above poster! Mid table that's not even us yet! It's true he is playing negative tactics, Defoe up on his own is Danny bloody dyer! We just sold our two most creative players in VDV and modrat which leaves us bale! The team looks lost no style of play anymore something needs to click and soon! AVB asks for patience well we ask for a manager who looks like he knows how to run a football team let alone club!

Agree1 Disagree0

Got to disagree super yid, for a start it shouldnt have even been a booking never mind a sending off! also, i think most of you are forgetting that it was him who pulled all the strings to get us into the champs league whilst modric was nursing a broken leg. As soon as Hudd is 100% fit he would be first on my team sheet.

rufus

Agree3 Disagree0

It hurts me to agree with sy but he is so right.such a slow player for the pace in the prem I could see him being a decent player abroad as is slower for him to get around..

Agree0 Disagree1

Rufus, we shall agree to disagree. Whether it wasnt even a booking isnt really relevant, it was the fact that in the middle of the pitch, with us in no danger whatsoever, he lunges in with an utterly pointless tackle. Possibly, he was thinking, that he should make the effort as he had stood off of the player who put the ball in for Norwich to equalise.
I not sure he "pulled the strings fella" sure he made his contribution to the all round team performance BUT, getting back to my original point, if he was that good we would have had more enquiries for him than Stoke City!
I dont think the red card will be overturned and i dont think that we will miss him, we certainly didnt last season.
Super Y*d

Agree0 Disagree2

Hudd is an excellent player and he's needed in the team now. Sending off was a bad decision by the ref, a yellow at worst. Hopefully we'll appeal as Hudd needs to be getting playing time to get his match sharpness back after so long out and with our lack of creativity showing the sooner the better

DSM here.
Owen is going to sign.
We were done over by Levy and his crap wage structure.
Believe. Those other signings were there for the taking. Man City get Javi for 16 mill? We could have paid that but can't match wages.

Gutted.

Wiggidy wiggidy WAC

You heard it from
Da Sacc Man

Believable2 Unbelievable2

You are joking. You, like all so called itk, spouted so much crap, why should we listen to a word you say now.
Get over it. The transfer window has closed.
You, lightening, the oracle. You are fools.
You are just attention seekers.
Not a word you have ever said us correct.
That we 'believe'

Agree5 Disagree0

Yeah but if we paid those kind of wages then we wouldn't have 16m to spend on anyone.

Let's not get at avb just yet, he clearly knew the players he wanted, building the team around moutinho it's levy who has let us down by managing to f..k the deal up! The lack of a 20 a season striker for 4 bloody seasons is just criminal! If he had bought that striker we would def of got champs league last season, potentially costing the club £30+ mill! Now clubs are complaining about negotiating with him giving himself and the club a bad name, soon clubs will not want to deal with us! I was in the in levy we trust camp but not anymore, we the fans pay to go to games that are getting mugged off whilst he's sitting in his mansion counting his money. 100% behind avb, but now totally sick with levy!

Believable6 Unbelievable3

Slightly agree with this one . Levy f***ed us over on the forward again for the 4th year in a row , but AVP must shoulder some of the blame . Why does he play with two defensive midfielders , but plays a high line with the defence ? Why does he persist with Defoe as a lone striker ? Why have we started playing the long ball out of defence all the time , especially from Friedall , to a forward who is what , 5ft 2in ? Why buy a player to replace ratface , only to leave him on the bench ? I hope AVB has what it takes to be a really good manager , but please play to our strengths and the best fans in the world will give him all the backing he needs !
As for all the fans that keep reminding us that we are financially inferior to other clubs , look at how much we spent ? 2nd or 3rd most in the premier league !! And most of that was recouped !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frankly if Levy had got his fingers out of his arse , then we might have got the players we needed . Yes , we got good squad players like Dempsey and siggy , and three exceptional players , Vert , Hugo and Dembele , but not the marquee signing up front that we needed !
