We have been linked with over 30 Players that I can think of over the last 2 windows alone BUT who out of the 30+ if any will we actually get?

As I said we are linked with every man jack and even his dog but we never really get that marquee signing. It would be nice that in one transfer window we would be first to act and get our house in order!! I understand about the manager situation but still, DL is normally the one who chooses the Tsfr targets so why not get the ball rolling, pre season training starts very soon, next week I believe but not 100%.

If moders stay's i think knowing spurs we will only sign two players for cash and maybe a free one! 1 def 1 striker and 1 mid/striker. Do you proper spurs fans agree really can't see us spending more than 25 million or so!!

That would depend on what you mean by linked, official from club or lazy "link everyone with Spurs" journalism.

To the person saying 'Spurs won't spend over £25m' - I disagree. I think this transfer window we will spend the most we have ever spent. I think this will happen because we are not getting CL football next season. I believe DL will want to cash in this summer to get us that CL spot next season and maybe even challenge for the title, which I believe Spurs can do.

I already know that we are looking for players to buy who are around the 8-10 million mark. Such as Vertonghen and Siggurdson. We are looking at strikers too such as Moses who Wigan want £12m for. I'm not saying we will buy Moses but that's just an example. We will also buy more players, maybe in the £10m mark or less, but we will definitely cash in more than £25m.

I believe we will spend up to 40-60million. Maybe even more.

Tell me if you disagree guys.

I agree mate I cant see us spending more than 25 million but we have to live in hope.

We usually spend £20m net per season I think we have some banked from the last 2 seasons and we have already sold Niko and Charlie. I'd say that means there is circa £40m in the pot plus Levy knows we need a striker and they don't come cheap

We've changed our wage structure so I wouldn't be suprised if the amount we spend on transfers change aswell

Lol you honestly think even half of those players would even consider playing for the spuds? I though my fellow gooners were deluded. I am well aware most of those players wouldn't sign for Arsensl, so what chance do you have?

Just been informed that Gio dos Santos could be on his way to Valencia and that the deal could involve Adil Rami moving to WHL

This would be amazing, dont thinks its realistic but vert and rami at the back would be unbeatable

Rami would be good but cant see the deal happerning ..i can see gio leaving and its probs the right move for him and the club..i remember beeing over the moon when we got him..thought he was going to be great...but never really got a chance and when he did he never proved anything...but i hope he goes and does great coz he has got talent

If Benny is injured switch JV to LB and put in one of Caulker,Gallas,Dawson,King*if he signs a player coach role* if JV or Kaboul is injured play any of The above as well if walker gets injured play Naughton ... I don't think you will get anything close to £38m for Modric. £28m perhaps. I have heard Spurs are almost certain to sign Zeki Fryers.

I hear Modric is willing to hand in a transfer request if the club do not stop pricing him out of a move. According to Guillem Balague RM interest is running cold and PSG doesn't appeal to Modric, so I think Spurs will have to sell to United or risk keeping an unhappy player. Time will tell I guess mate.

Yeah, Yeah i know the windows only a day old, but already im chewin me nails! no manager no new players (getting worried abt vertonghen takin way to long) what happened to yesterdays announcement?? cummon levy give us something! anything!!!

No new players will be announced until the 12th in line with the new kit coming on sale. Why picture a new player with the old kit??

Why not just picture him holding a Spurs scarf above his head instead?

Wouldn't it be a great PR punt though to keep everything hush then announce the new manager and new signings on July 14th straight to the fans that bothered to turn up. Cut the media middle man bull. I can dream
