Carroll would bench warm with star strikers like Adebayor, Pav, Defoe and Lanky. Put the crack down you London scum.

1 Player in the whole Tottenham squad would get into our great team, Modric, he isn't even your player in all honesty. There is a reason VDV cost 8 million. I find it hard to be excited buy our summer dealings, we knew a year ago that we needed defenders and strikers, but this is the third window to pass without the players we need.
Adebayor is a great player, don't get me wrong - but a loan only, a forty year old goalkeeper, a 16 year old from Barca, a potential good young striker in Coulibaly (but will he be given the chance to excel or be lost in our reserves, like so many others). Diarra or Parker - wow, we should be so excited

Adebayor is deal to possible buy after the season long loan an tbh in my opinion a loan deal i better than a permanant cause we will see what he really is like playing for us if he has his head in the right place to play for us and give 100 percent each week and it gives him a chance to see how he enjoys playing for us also, but he dosent play with his full ability we only have him for a year so we wont have lost money on his high wages and a possible sigining on fee, also parker and diarra are relistic targets for us tbh hulk was never a relistic target in my opinion he will be playing for one of the best teams in the world next season cause the champions league team will see what he has to give in the champions league, cahill would be a awesome signing plain and simple, osvaldo is to expensive at 20mill and over was the valution, would rather have damiao for 20 mill, llorente is a tall striker that was a step up from crouch but we got adebayor so unnessary signing, but i agree with your ' where is the 25 mill from cl ' but iam sure its was in the region of 28 mill

Why are people so unhappy with parker? I think we should have bought him years ago and are they forgetting he was player of the year last year despite being in a team that was relegated. We need a leader and driving force in midfield and that is what parker brings

I fully agree with the above statement, I like the look of Livermore but Parker would be great for us in midfield. A real workhorse alongside Huddlestone or Modric, or even both if Harry changes to a 4-3-3

I beg to differ. Parker is not an average player. He is a very good player - heaps of experience and actually at an age where he's hitting his peak in that position - think lamps last 2/3 seasons... For little money he will improve us dramatically. Experience, leadership, composure and a footballer. Don't want to be blunt but we need to get realistic with our targets...

How can you say Scott Parker is past it and never cut it on the big stage. Did he not win Player of the Year ahead of Tevez, VDV, Vidic last year? He's a player with a bit of passion and character (something not guaranteed from Diarra). We should get off Parker's case and if he signs, welcome him with open arms
