Where is there any evidence of this? All the news today says there is still no deal agreed and that he is talking of perhaps going to arsenal if a deal falls through or seeing out his final year.
If im honest I wouldn't be suprised if we end up missing out hope not when it's so close.

It was agreed at 9.6 million but if things aren't settled quickly he may be looking to move to arsenal

Any news on interest in Ganso? I think if we sell modric then Vertonghen, Ganso, Leandro Damiao and Hoilett should be our main targets (plus a decent keeper)

Adebayor, vergongen, remy. 3 players id like to see. id like that to be followed by damaio. remy can play on either wing so i woudnt worry about too many strikers.
id imagine modric will stay one more year if we sign big.
someone like neymar will be the shock depending on who we miss out on.

Hi fellow Yods, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but i have it for a pal at the lane (She works at the lane) that big Jan and his Agent are close to walking away from Spurs over a couple of contract clause that spurs don't won't be player does, something to do with image rights and CL qualifacation.
Looks like DL/HR strike again.
When are we gonnastop haggling over a few quid and sign some bloody decent players.
Hope she is wrong, but she has given me correct info in the past, (Parker and Ade). I hope we come overcome these contract issues and sign him!

Why are you knocking "DL" for that?!
If a player is demanding some sort of releas clause following a failure to get CL football then he can jog on - setting ourselves up for massive losses if we start caving to demands like that.

He told Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwesblad: “I never said that I will only leave Ajax for Tottenham. I only said that they are my preferred option.
"I have a good feeling with the club and that matters to me. They have already invited me and want to wrap this up shortly.
“Tottenham missing out on the Champions League doesn’t play a role in my decision, but it could have consequences for their transfer budget.
"They’ve told me that I’m their only option and that’s a big compliment."
He added: “The transfer talk doesn’t really affect me. I didn’t expect that I’d feel hardly any stress. If the move doesn’t happen now, I’ll stay at Ajax for another season, and can then leave on a free transfer.
"The chance that we will know more in the next 10 days is rather small. I just want to start pre-season at my new team."

Bulls**t, Jan wants to join, he even stated "I only want to join spurs, so don't keep waiting for another bid(Ajax)" We have already agreed personal terms with Jan Vertonghen(60K a week) and its just between the two clubs to arrange a fee. Go home gooner.

Hope it is just a rumour. do u think they're going for him coz the vertonghen deal didnt work out? or are they just planning on completely revamping the defence

I hope not we want top players has levy set a signing fee so or Harry just thinks he is good lol, Harry bring in players like Adam johnson, Leighton baines,dzeko,Tevez, i know I'm in dream world but we need to push on forward and not Wat happend with fourth as Chelski won't the Champ final as spurs lost out

As i said before on this site spurs will mess around and miss out as usual with harry saying "hes a player we like but i dont think we can do anything" the usual s**te and we will end up with second rate players just as we did in january!
