France are out - GO GET OUR MAN DANIEL !

COYS

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Please get him, what person starts Mexes ahead of Koscielny. One of the most talented squads in the comp and Blanc gets them second in the group and battered by Spain, who was there best player tonight? Koscielny, poor guy was bench warming while Mexes and Rami were shambles.

Agree6 Disagree4

Dear god i hope he's not french

Agree2 Disagree0

After the way france waved the white flag no thanks .

Agree3 Disagree0

You can wish, hope and pray for Blanc but sadly you will find little respite. AVB has agreed terms and this will soon be declared by our board.

So how good will AVB be and I ask you why is his age being touted as the future of the club. good managers like Jol, Redknapp and George Graham & Gerry Francis before them all lasted the 3 years cycle. Even Terry Venables last just over 3 years as well whilst we reflect on the past. Then we have the 1 years disasters like Pleat, Santini, Ramos, Gross & Ardilles. Surely his age is irrelevant as history has shown us that he will get the boot within 12 months or reign with success for 3 years.

AVB and Vertonghen were done deals as I reported many weeks ago. On 1st July when everything goes public expect some serious action. I hope we can keep Modric but the moises are such that Rel are looking increasingly likely to bag him. This will open a door for AVB to stamp his mark on the team with some clever transfer market moves.

Heads up guys as AVB was touted as the best prospect in Europe when Chelsea splashed the cash. The Chelsea old guard have run the show for years and AVB like to manager and not be a puppet for the cameras. Just becuase Ambramovich buckled to there pressure doesnt mean he was terrible. The truth is they were lucky in the Champions League winning three times when totally outclassed after AVB was sacked. Sure they were playing badly but did Roberto really do that much to help them win. If AVB had stayed and won the Champions League with a squad that was clearly capable, then everyone would be talking about him being better than Mourinho.

So get behind our young manager when the news is made public, and with a little support he might just show he is the legend that Chelsea thought they bought in the first place.

Agree12 Disagree7

Def a biased arsenal fan above, koscelny this koscelny that, did you say he is France's best player LMFAO

Agree4 Disagree8

Come on then, know it alls, who should be our new manager

Agree1 Disagree3

You need to look at the France squad tho, like the Dutch, it is chock full of ego's. No team can play or survive with that amount of ego flying around. How ribery and nasri can even fit the same dressing room is beyond me.

Agree1 Disagree3

Just a blip! It was well published recently that up until the last group game against Sweeden, France had not lost in 25 games.

I fell that to say that he is no good because his side lost to a very well organised Sweedish team (who gave England a bloody hard game) and then lost to Spain (the world champions!) is a little short sighted.

If Spurs went two thirds of the season with a 0 in the lost colum, we'd all be asking Harry who?? And claiming the manager as our best boss since Bill Nic (god bless him).

I for one would welcome a man of Blancs calabre into the WHL hot-seat far before thinking of AVB, Martinez or Moyes.

COYS

Agree3 Disagree3

That is just the French way of life, if the not revolting their giving up.

If, as being reported, AVB has signed on the dotted line then there is no reason that the club could say so. AVB apparently has a clause in his Chelski severance that states he can not sign for someone else until July 1st, but here's no reason why he can not sign a pre contract just like players do.

Surely if the club had made its decision they would say so as uncertainty and constant press speculation is not good for the club or the mindset of our players. The "uncertainty" also leaves us open to approaches from bigger clubs for our better players.

He may well sign, but if he had, I think we would know by now. I mean officially know from the club, not from some boring repetitive person coming on sites claiming he is ITK, but just regurgitating the red tops. {Ed007's Note - There are no outstanding contractual issues with Chelsea.}

Agree0 Disagree2

No Blanc please. We already haqd an underachiever in HR. Lke HR, Blanc showed that he is not a winner. Instead of trying to win the match, like HR and a lot of other losers, including Hodgson, they come to try and not to lose and hope for a lottery win. Therefore out of fear and no confidence in his football philosophy, Blanc like Harry would use that same losing attitude like HR against the likes of Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, etc even when it is not deserved like matches we played against the lesser teams in the league. And that is why we were not closer to winniong the league and not in the champions league. So stop blaming Chelsea. I would rather lose with a coach that have a positive philosophy. Thus, my vote out of all those mentioned as potential managers is Martinez, AVB second. The others are useless.

Agree1 Disagree1

I can t believe how deluded you spurs fans are, please remember where you were before harry took over but what he left you with

Agree2 Disagree3

The Thrush must be the only Spurs Troll in existence.... Let's hope the new law's will see him relieved of his computer!

Agree0 Disagree0

History shows us that France had no serious chance of progressing far in the competition. France are the worst travelling team for tournaments. They have won 3 tournies, (2 euros and 1 WC) and 2 were in France and one was in Belgium. They did well in 2006 which was next door in Germany.

2002 in Asia they imploding scoring no points and no goals. 2010 they imploded, rebelling against the manager and again finished bottom this time with 1 point and 1 goal.

I'd prefer AVB to Blanc, but I don't think you can blame Blanc for France going out. Ukraine was just too far away. It's a part of their culture.

IN LEVY WE TRUST.

I think this summer transfer window is going to be the best we have seen ever. Going to better than when we got Van der Vaart and Jurgen Klinsmann.

Was The Oracle not a Man City fan this time last year and posted drivel about done deals which never materialised?

Twitter tumours going around.
We have stolen yan m'villa from Rennes for 13mill
if this true, then I would suggest our next manager is Laurent blanc
Also saying Charlie had gone to join billic in Russia for 7mill

Believable2 Unbelievable13

Haha how can you steal a player

Agree2 Disagree1

Very much doubt we would get m'villa. Don't think any signings will be announced/finalised before they state who are new manager will be. But knowing spurs they may announce vertonghen in the 1st along with a new manager then they'll be nothing until the closing hours of the transfer window.

Mk1

Agree4 Disagree2

If someone got m'villa for 13mill, then that is def a steal

Agree1 Disagree2

Ahhh, twitter, the most reliable source.

Sorry to disappoint, but you will not be signing M'Vila, especially with CHAMPIONS LEAGUE teams interested.

Ted

You have taken this rumour from a Twitter account named FakeRumours? Brilliant.

Laurent Blanc is surely on his way to white hart lane?!..Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has this evening told french journalist's that the french FA have made an approach to speak to Lyon manager Remi Garde about becoming the next french coach. when questioned where the current french manager was going?, he replied, England..when asked where in england?, he replied London!.

This is my first post on here for about 3 months I live in Ruthin in north wales,we was at a wedding reception last saterday and Gareth bales sister and cousin was there give us I bit of info but can't be 100 % certain if true, but she said our new manager is going to be martin o,Neil and her brother could be on his way to Spain, she was a bit under the influence but she seemed genuine.

Welsh Spur :)

Agree2 Disagree0

Bet his sisters a right ugly cow, wouldn't want be pissed near that.

Agree3 Disagree1

Bale not going....YET

Agree2 Disagree1

If o'neil becomes manager watch the exodus of players, I don't think Levy is that stupid or a single moment.

Agree1 Disagree1

Bet his sisters a ight ugly cow ....lol thats funny....bet she has those ears 2 lol

Agree0 Disagree3

Why would O'Neill leave the club he supported as a lad, who have a tremendous fanbase and are looking increasingly to be on the up for a smaller club like Tottenham?

Makes no sense.

ClockEndClockEndGiveUsaWave

Agree2 Disagree3

More to the point, why would we want o'neill?

He is one for you all to digest:
1) Levy will possible blindside everyone and get a
good manager that no one has even placed on
the list.
2) All these rumours about Modders leaving are from so
call Spanish Media and his so call friends lets wait
till he is back at the club.
3) As for incoming players lets again wait till the 1st
July when players can be signed officially then
have a moan about who we should or shouldn't
sign.
4) If you read all the so call papers Spurs are a club
in turmoil and most that give that impression are
reports that are friends of HR and his son so don't
you all think they might be a bit bias as they will
no longer get good quotes for their papers.
Lets Just give Levy & Lewis a few days to sort it and possibly all will not be so gloomy as the papers predict also don't you all think that once a new manager is in all the papers will be wanting to interview and if he is a well known manager praise him for what he has done else where.

Believable10 Unbelievable2

Any transfers can be done and indeed a number have been done by other clubs and dor that matter it seems Corluka has followed Kranky out of WHL. 1st of July is merely the first day to register players nothing else, so no justification for not doing any deals

Agree1 Disagree0

Although I agree with the OP that the only way to know for sure is to wait and see what happens, surely that defeats the whole purpose of a rumours site?

Andre Villas-Boas has rejected recent reports linking him with the vacant manager's job at Tottenham Hotspur as 'lies', He was quoted as saying by Portuguese newspaper O Jogo: "There is nothing, it is all lies."

so it looks attentions will be drawn elsewhere, its got to be David Moyes for me

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Or had he commented because of the supposed Chelsea clause until 1st July.
He would be in breach if he spoke to anyone before then. I'm sure things will show themselves in the next week or so, who ever it is

Rumour that sigurdson is having a medical. Ed, have you heard anything?
Spurs Lad {Ed001's Note - last I heard he was yet to agree a deal with anyone, but he is talking to a number of clubs.}

Believable1 Unbelievable6

He's got previous takes em so far spends fortunes players, agents& media love him and you poor fans have nothing to build on
David moyes is 10 times the manager you will never get him. Modric gone then Bale your only chance to stay in touch is if you appoint Steve Mc laren

Agree3 Disagree8

Sigurdson will more than likely sign for liverpool.
failing that i do not know why people keep on spouting off on all these big money players, hulk for instance. yeah he is not the best imo, we could get, but he would still command 25 kmill in this climate. do not expect the new manager to be given more than 40 million, plus half the money from the modric sale. we just do not have it. imo i would like to have laurent blanc in charge ahead of moyes and avb. imo we need 4 players, a gk (maybe if lb becomes manager he can convince lloris 12 m), vertonghen (12 m) a replacement for modric (should of gone for kagawa with the promise of 1st team football) but dembele has a chance to shine in our team (12 m) so thats 36 m already. leaving us with the prospect of a 20 m striker.......huntellar would be a good choice, just worried he would not have the strength to play in the premier league.

Agree5 Disagree3

Everton fans are all crying over the fact moyes is linked 2 us..which means that they no he would take the job coz hes doing a harry and beating around the bush when hes been asked about the job..also everton fans no the woudnt get a decent manager to take over from moyes..they got no money..no one will go there...so keep on moaning and crying ...moyes wont come to us..but he wants 2 leave

Agree3 Disagree0

Moyes is a fantastic manager has worked wonders at club who with limited resources should be fighting relegation most seasons but never are, the fact that most of the Spurs fans think he's not a BIG enough name for us is why i should imagine why Everton fans are getting the hump and why Moyes shouldn't come to us,personally would choose premiership tryed and tested Moyes over so called big names of Avb and Blanc but if we do want a big name somebody on this site said Deschamps (which i put a sarky comment to) but on reflection a better shout than who were linked with
