I bet you said the same about van der vaart... The second Dutch mystro is on his way Robben 2 Spurs

Agree0 Disagree0

You are crazy to think otherwise

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Robben support Spurs and he said when England didn't manage to get into the Euros '' I watched England and they disappointed me, i was expecting a lot more from a top quality side like England, I remember when i Watched Gascoigne and Lineker in 1990 World Cup and for Tottenham. My family and I supported Tottenham. My Father went to see Anderlect and Tottenham Uefa cup final 1984 and managed to catch Steve Archibald's shirt after the game my father gave it to me when i became 6 its been my favorite piece of memorabilia ever since then''

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a spurs fan , but there is no way we are getting robben , we won t pay the wages so he won t come simple

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is set to make his first big move in this summers transfer window by making a move for Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben.

According to reports on footybunker.com, Rafael van der Vaart, who Spurs bought to the Premiership last summer has suggested his Dutch team-mate to Redknapp.

It is felt the winger would be an ideal purchase to bolster the teams chances of finishing in the top four again after missing out last season, as he not only provides chances but also scores his fair share of goals .

Robben who joined Bayern Munich in 2009 from Real Madrid has a poven record in the Premier League after spending three years with west London outfit Chelsea.

During his time at Stamford bridge the 27-year-old won an array for trophies' including, two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups.

A number of other Premiership clubs have been linked with Robben in the past, including, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

It is Tottenham could stand a good chance of landing the Holland international, with van der Vaart already at the club.

However Robben could play in the Champions League with the German giants next season, whereas Spurs are only offer to able Europa League football.

Last season Robben made only 17 appearances for the club in all competitions and but still managed to score 13 goals.

Any spurs fans heard a rumour that daniel levy and craig whyte have spoken about forging some kinda link with spurs and glasgow rangers about loaning each other young players

Believable13 Unbelievable8

No chance we have just done this with swindon

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not, Scottish football is a joke, any deal between Spurs and Rangers would only benefit rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy above , the spl is not a joke it is a brilliant league where players benefit from and a couple of scottish teams could push for top 4 , and some prem teams couldnt win in the spl , ---- Rangers and Tottenham fan here , this would benifit both teams as we ( rangers) have excellent players such as Jelavic , Mcgregor and great youth players like Wylde , fleck , ness and Spurs have brilliant youth that we could give titles/ cups and champo expperiecne and maybe if a big player gets injured and not fit enough for the prem we could take him on loan and give him match fitness.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look son, Rangers are a joke club down here That is a FACT you need to get used to. We have no interest in your little begging club hat so ever. None of your players are good enough for a big team and only Izaguire(sp) and Kayal from Celtic are decent players.Isn't your CB about 43? I hardly think we would benefit from anything your club has to offer. Take your begging bowl and go elsewhere, and how can you support 2 teams, I think you are a bit confused on this one sonny

Agree0 Disagree0

Typical english arrogance without the sky money EPL is another average league rangers are a far bigger club than spurs are we play in a smaller league yes but as a club we are bigger so take your arrogance and shove it

Agree0 Disagree0

Given a choice between sitting on the spurs bench (if that), playing for a championship side, or going to rangers - clearly rangers is a good option. any one who doesn't value the experience gained by playing, let alone playing champions league football - simply doesn't have a clue.

Go and do one jock straps. Go back and have a fight in your foreign country. SPL=League 1 and im being generous.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah that's a bit harsh i reckon Celtic and Rangers would be good mid table sides like Newcastle or Sunderland and maybe Hearts fighting for relegation every year like Wigan seem to do. I think they would be decent sides but not to Challenge the prem at the moment. I admit the Scottish League isn't the best league in the world with only two teams competing for the top and have done so for ever and only 1 or 2 ocasions when some else wins it. and yes the Prem is more competitive and do have better teams but i think a partnership with Rangers could do us both a lot of good.
Cockney geezer born and bred

Agree0 Disagree0

... Seriously what's with all this hate for any club but Chelsea and arsenal ?
I agree it would be a good link to offer players needing experience ... Especially if that area is covered for spurs and youth wouldn't get a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a gers fan and i know that the spl isnt the best league in the world but we (rangers) develop great young players and if all u spurs fans dont want to give them a chance then its ur own loss. if u think kayal and isaguirre (spelling) are the best in the spl then u obviously havent watched much spl football

Agree0 Disagree0

If Rangers are such a weak side with crap players then why did yous spend 8 million o Alan Hutton?
