Ed is Belague right saying that Real have agreed a deal for Bale and are waiting for the right time to announce it? {Ed002's Note - They believe they have an acceptable deal in place and they want to present the player on the midday game on Sunday September 1 against Athletic Bilbao.}

Believable7 Unbelievable5

'Bale 11' shirts was on their official website tonight photo's online but when I looked shop website was undergoing maintenance

Agree7 Disagree2

He's not for sale because he's already been sold.

Agree6 Disagree1

I laugh he don't sign no.

Agree4 Disagree5

Ed do you think with the development of the Willian situation we may just keep this deal on ice until we have a ready made replacement?

Cheers {Ed013's Note - I doubt it mate}

Agree2 Disagree3

Hearing reports that willian has decided to choose Chelsea over spurs. Silly boy how many attacking midfielders do they have 5 is it .

Willian going to chelsea could be a blessing in disguise, what we are missing is someone who creates chances, chips in with goals and can play in multiple positions. that person is Eriksen. He is younger and less expensive than Willian with a good attitude. This is the window to buy him or miss out forever and what a shame that would be.

Agree8 Disagree6

I doubt Wllian was a top target when the Bale sale was formulated, given that Anzi only decided to unload players in the last 2 weeks. I would imagine AVB and Baldini have a list of targets in priority . which Willian jumped to top off at a late moment.

Agree7 Disagree2

Apparently Erik Lamela was the "absolute priority" I personally thinnk this should be the case. Far more better prospect and better player overall. maybe a sneaky bid for Mata? or Rooney? if we are splashing the cash, why not try at least?

Agree2 Disagree6

Finnspur-Although I agree with your comments about Eriksen, I'd like to say that Willian ticks the boxes you said we require. It'll be a shame we missed out on him but we've had a great transfer window so far and can't expect all transfers to go our way.

Saying that if we get Eriksen and Lamela then it'll be happy days at the lane COYS

ed's any more news on erikson would love to see him play at spurs behind soldado {Ed002's Note - There is no acceptable offer on the table for Eriksen although both Milan and Spurs remain interested. If Milan sell Boateng they will make an offer for him immediately as they have already agreed personal terms. With Pjanic out of the picture, now would be the time for Spurs to move for Eriksen.}

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Eriksens agent said he would only consider moving to a club in the cl and that club must considered to be in the running for there domestic league which pretty much rules the spuds out

Agree3 Disagree12

I don't believe that. Not long ago he was praising Tottenham as a "great club". While that's no guarantee, he's been very select about the type of club he'd accept an offer from and his comments certainly made it sound like Spurs would be one of those clubs. I guess it helps that he knows SuperJan.

If Willian goes to Chelsea, which looks very likely now, it wouldn't surprise me if we went for Eriksen instead. He's exactly what we need, has that little bit of magic and spark.

Hi Eds.

We have agreed a fee with Anzhi for William and he has passed his medical however sources stating that he is keeping his options open.

Is this just paper talk?

Could his wages be a stumbling block?

Are we waiting on the bale funds to complete the move? {Ed002's Note - It is arising out of his agent saying yesterday that he was surprised there was no Champions League teams bidding.}

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Have heard that he's also talking to the gooners.

Agree4 Disagree12

Looking for CL team . Not exactly a show of commitment to us.

Agree7 Disagree2

Turn it in - Where did you hear that? Is it something you made up?

Agree4 Disagree7

Actaly tv ate reporting that he's waiting for other offers, also why is he delaying then?

Agree5 Disagree1

Come on utd! just get your finger out your ass and steal him he's a good player! would fit into our first 11

RedDevil0690

Agree1 Disagree7

Not clear if its Willian holding out or his agent holding out for other offers in the hopes of a CL team. Better make his decision or Townsend will be his "replacement".

Agree1 Disagree2

Apparently in talks with Chelski.

Agree5 Disagree1

Looks like talks advancing with Chavski now . probably be a good idea if he doesn't change his mind and come back to us now . Not exactly going to be welcome with open arms.

Chelsea are pinching him

Jam roll

Agree4 Disagree1

Willian has reportedly been entertained by Chelsea football club, and it seems he has used us to broker a better deal. One thing is certain, we do not need another bloody mercenary after Adebayor.

Agree6 Disagree0

Good, don't need his hyped up type.

Agree2 Disagree2

Chelsea in talks with willian he will probably go there now . gutted

Agree5 Disagree4

Maybe we should make an offer for Mata?

Agree6 Disagree2

Eds is it true he's talking to chavski? Rushie {Ed002's Note - Yes.}

Agree3 Disagree0

Good! Let Chelski sign him. He doesn't seem worth £30m. We can buy 2 players of equal ability to Willian for that money

P-to-the-S

Agree5 Disagree2

There again he will be guaranteed more playing time at spurs

Agree2 Disagree1

Lol yestaday he was better than messi now chelsea want him he is rubbish you lot make me laugh and bye bye bale bye bye spurs

Agree9 Disagree7

Stuff William keep bale

Agree4 Disagree3

Lets be honest who had heard of him not proven I would tale Marta any day if we could get him

Agree1 Disagree3

He can warm the bench up there if all he wants is money don't want him at the lane if that's his attitude.

There is no way he will play in front of lampard, Oscar, hazard, Matta, Ramires and schurlle and if they get Rooney well nuff said.

There are other options out there and we will be fine we are Tottenham super Tottenham.

Been flying round twitter that he's talking to chavski not bothered take him or leave him. Lemala the one we want

Agree3 Disagree2

Lamela and Eriksen will do . plus a good CB and Coentrao from RM and we are set. High priced mercenaries are not needed thanks.

Agree4 Disagree1

Forget willian don't really need him, we should use all that money and sign michu of Swansea just what we need to play just behind the forward and proving in prem.

Agree5 Disagree1

While Levy & Co were in talks with Willian and his agent this morning, Abramovich called his mate at Anzhi and offered 38 mill. so with that we have lost Willian to the Chavs.

Agree1 Disagree0

Whats up with you Spurs fans?.Don't get Wilian keep Bale?.Obviously Bale is going otherwise you would never be spending all this money.Stop getting carried away with yourselves.

Agree6 Disagree5

Clearly the angry anonymous post was another sad face from The Emirates. My advice to him is to keep focussed as Flamini is coming back to save the sinking ship, perhaps Fabregas will also return in another 7 or 8 years time. Fear not Thierry Henry is on standby if you need him at Christmas.

We all know Bale is gone, and if Willian chooses Chelski over Spurs then we never wanted him in the first place. Lamela is our key focus, along with Coentrao and Chirchices. If we can sneak in Eriksen in the middle we will be set for glory. The final laugh will be Podolski signing at the death for buttons, and then during in a hatful for a side that will give him much better support.

Face it Arsenals time passed long ago, and even the miracles of the last three season will not be enough this time round. Premiership will be between Chelsea, Man City and Spurs, with Man United taking 4th and Liverpool 5th. I expect Fulham, Newcastle and Everton will be your main competition. Just try to play clean football and you might get a concession from Uefa through fair play.

Thanks for coming, now go pray Wenger doesn't lose the plot.

Agree5 Disagree5

I agree with the poster earlier who mentioned buying Michu instead. Better player, proven in prem, lower wages, gives 100%. and the Gooners wouldn't be too happy about it.
Seen some clips of Todor Nedelev. Looks like a great talent. Turn of pace, technique, passing range and incredible long range shooting. Definitely a player who can improve under AVB too. A possible bargain at around €5m

P-to-the-S

Agree2 Disagree2

Eminence, lived in our shadows for 16 years so keep spending, we are not worried???

Agree4 Disagree2

Willian has been spotted outide stamford bridge with a liverpool scarf talking to AVB.

If Bale is sold to Real Madrid, Tottenham will lodge an ambitious 25 million pound + Jermaine Defoe for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku

forget that one Nathan, you will never get him, this guy is destined for greatness and Chelski will up his salary to huge amounts soon

Agree10 Disagree3

No they won't
KMB

Agree4 Disagree5

What a load of twaddle! When do the kids go back to school?

Agree10 Disagree0

Absolutely no chance

Agree6 Disagree1

The guy who although they deny being their next drogba, secretly hope for to be? as if.

if the player was a west brom player initially and not their on loan then yeh I see it. but no way. stop smoking the wacky baccy

Agree7 Disagree2

Why would Chelsea want defoe?

Agree6 Disagree2

Jermain "earrings" defoe would be best utilised cleaning big Roman's personal bog! 'Nando "barn door" toerag looks positively "clinical" next to wee Jermain!

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm pretty sure AVB is not the biggest fan of Lukaku. Hence Lukaku blaming AVB for hindering his development.
