Have no information to confirm that this is going to happen, but do people think Dempsey of Fulham would be great to provide cmpetition, particularly to Lennon? May not be prepared to be a squad player but is having a great seasona nd is definitely a goal scorer.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

No,no and no.

Agree5 Disagree6

No way

Agree4 Disagree6

Think this could be a good move - on the cheap say £5 mill only though

Villarreal striker Nilmar an interest for spurs look on talk sport transfer rumours.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

If Villareal want Dos Santos; and harry wants Nilmar on loan, is that not an obvious deal waiting to be done.. Any discussion Ed?

KD

Agree4 Disagree2

With Rossi injured for the season I doubt they'd be happy to let Nilmar leave right now, might be a good time to sign Rossi though with an eye to the future!

Agree1 Disagree1

Word in Spain is that Nilmar is wanted by Sao Paulo, but no rumours od Spurs interest. Curious because Villarreal are in the relegation zone and have Rossi out and Nilmar himself has only recently got back from injury and they are their two best players now Cazorla's gone. Not sure why they would sell one in their current circumstances much less loan one

My predictions:

Samba on transfer day
Krasic on loan
Damiao (more wishful thinking than anything tbh)

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Why do we need Samba?
Ledley can make the odd appearance; Kaboul is a fantastic athlete very improved this season. Dawson is back look awesome.. Come next season we have Caulker to come back who is a fantastic prospect. Central defence seems well covered!

Look at our strike options on the other hand?? Need a reliable finisher as priority IMO.

KD

Agree5 Disagree4

Kaboul is class, shame ledley cant play more often, gallas is injury prone. But if you think dawson is awesome, you know nothing about modern day defending.he is to slow, and gets out of position to often,he always gets shone up against a decent striker.hes not good enough for us!

Agree5 Disagree6

Agree KD . We seem to have a good range at CB , we could even dump bassoon now , rest of defence xcellent , Midfield , best in league with plenty of cover , but need a GOOD goal score .
Also , as bentley and jenus were injured whilst on loan , who pays the wages ??
Davo

Agree2 Disagree1

Think a cb will be needed in the summer, Bassong and Gallas will leave and with the King's injury problems we will need another cb. Defo agree a centre forword is what we need right now. Got a horrible feeling it's not going to happen tho!
Mo

Agree2 Disagree1

When we finished 4th; wasn't Dawson our player of the year?

Agree5 Disagree1

The guy above is not a true spur if he thinks Daws is crap the guy is quality and considering just come back from injury(3 games in a week) he is looking class already.

git rid of bassong as he is crap and i would sign Samba as i feel Sir Leds and Gallas might not play much next season, which is a shame as Leds, when fit,is the best defender in the prem if not world.

would love to sign a quality striker but am getting slightly worried that we are not gonna do anything and i think that would be bad (like last season when we needed something extra in jan and we signed piennar???).

Who is the special signing?

Agree3 Disagree1

Not a true spur?
if you think dawson is class, then you probably think jenas is to!!
No top club would take dawson. they would all take kaboul.
dawson is a squad player, hes not class mate, wake up fella.and by the way,i have been a season ticket holder in th park lane for 15yrs, and been going to games regular for 35yrs!! how bout you mr know it all??

Agree2 Disagree2

Dawson is not class in my opinion either. He's very slow and his positioning is suspect sometimes which is a huge problem if you dont have the speed to recover. Kaboul and Ledley are our best CB's

Agree3 Disagree2

Kaboul and King are our best pairing, but the Kings injuries are becoming a major issue to getting a stable CB pairing ... the time to move on is drawing very close, let's to live in the past for too long.

As predicted no signings in the last 7 days at most 2 contracts for players already at the club.

Falque and Lennon (almost)

My source seems good

Bad news is no signings on the radar as yet. Once City game is out the way the focus is on finding buyers for Pav, Gomes, Gio and Bassong at the "right price"

Remy deal isnt dead either

Samba looks unlikely

20/6/7

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Who let the oracle back? Am I the only one that has noticed the style of the above is the same and that this 20/6/7 poster only started posting after the oracle was proved to be full of s**t ?

Agree3 Disagree7

The oracle knew nothing. I was right on everything I said last week and will be right again this week. No one will sign before Thurs FACT!

20/6/7

Agree8 Disagree1

We signed Falque from Juventus didn't we? He was on loan with us...

wrong already

Agree1 Disagree7

Contract for a player already at the club you can be pedantic if you like but the info I gave was correct

Agree7 Disagree0

It don't see that being overly perdantic ...
He was on loan ... And is now ours ... Therefore a signing anybody would class that as a new signing ergo I agree wrong ! Nobody knows s**t !

Agree0 Disagree8

20/6/7 certainly seems as arrogant as oracle was too...

any news on Nilmar ed??? he seems pretty good {Ed001's Note - nothing, sorry.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Nilmar has not been the same player since his knee injury. I have also been told he will be heading to Brazil in return for £7 million and Casemiro.

Just a suggestion, we need a new striker so why don't we go for lacina traore , he's still young and has a decent goal return in the Russian league . Also at 6 ft 8 he can do a good replacemet as a Target man for ade . Would cost around 5-10 m I think

Jay B - spurs loyal

Believable1 Unbelievable2

No.

Agree1 Disagree1

He becomes amazing in football manager too! Sign him up!

Agree1 Disagree1

I got Tevez in a straight swap for Bassong and Pav on Football manager.... we should do that instead!

In regards to the 6"8 giant.... would you really stake our title hopes on a young hopeful who good in the RUSSIAN league? IF we buy, then buy for now, to make a difference this season. Save the young stars for a cheaper summer transfer.

Naz

Agree2 Disagree0

Naz ,
I agree we need to buy someone like llorente just now to make a difference. But traore will be cheaper just now as this is russias offseason . Just I'd rather have traore instead of pav

JayB

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't pav good in the russian league?
enuf said

Agree4 Disagree0

Hey JayB,
What I was trying to get at was is Troare a top 4/champs league player? Instead of paying 7-10 mill on a player now, I would rather save the money then add another 10 mill (with our champs league money)and get someone who we know is champs league quality. we have always bought dead wood in the past... Bentley, Pianaar etc. And now we are trying to get rid of them with no success. I just do not want us doing that anymore.

Look at assenal skinting and saving on young kids in hope they will all be world beaters, theo cost them 8-10mill and they pinned their hopes and dreams on him being the next best thing. SOmetimes you just need to buy class to get class

Spurs fans (of which, I am one) - there will be two signings. Samba will sign on or before deadline day & there will be a striker. several names in the hat due to usual brinkmanship, Llorente is looking the most likely at this stage.
On the managerial front, Levy wants to know the outcome of HR trail next week & a long term commitment to stay before giving too much money as he is well aware that, if things go against Harry or he opts out, we will be looking to a new man who will want to bring in new signings. There is a 40m pot for players, plus sales. Preliminary talks have been held with Jurgen Klinsmann, the other names on the list are Jose M and also mentioned Brenden Rodgers WHATCH THIS SPACE!! - the Mole

Believable3 Unbelievable7

So what your saying is Samba will sign in this window but you had to say it in a way as if you know what your talking about. A striker will sign after reports linking us with every striker on the planet. And finally, your saying if, i repeat if redknapp goes, a manager from a bigger club will join? except swansea. Your talking s**t you little mole.

JUST WAIT AND SEE - TM

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of toffee!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does this sounds like someone else under a different name?

Agree3 Disagree0

Look where redknapp has taken us, we need a big name to replace him. brendan rogers ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Jose will be the only guy I want to replace him, oh and maybe Klinsmann, but he's not that good of a manager but still a ledge

Naz

Agree0 Disagree1

I know we're a bit hard up for strikers, but bring Jurgen back seems a bit desperate?

Just a little joke to ease the tensions as Man City game about to kick off... COYS!

Agree2 Disagree0

David moyes would be good replacement for harry..but hope harry continues
