The only thing I would be worried about if we get lamela is when ronaldo goes past his sell-by date. would they be after him if he puts in a good season or 2(if he comes).

If that happens, they'll pay top dollar, just as they seem to be to get bale, so it seems a win win situation .

Ah thanks I read it too fast, after a couple drinks haha.

But let's just put it this way: if we're going to lose bale this summer, i'd like to think we are going to get those replacements that would keep our attacking line just as dangerous.

I guess the marca propaganda regurgitators have been getting to me about bale leaving.

Expect to hear the completion of the signing of Willian and Spurs are in talks with A S Roma to sign Lamela as well, but this could take a bit more time.

Once Spurs complete their transfer inevitably Gareth Bale will be going to Real Madrid with Coentrao coming to Spurs as part of the deal.

Hopefully we have willian and lamela for the arsenal game next weekend. weather forecast predicts a storm because tottenham are going to rain down on em. COYS

Are we not still exposed to an injury to Soldado? Not sure who steps in if he misses 4 to 6 games. I know JD and Ade, but that seems potentially like a big risk we are taking in a position that has caused us pain for the last couple of seasons when all the pieces around it are in place with quality cover.

Expat - Chadli can step into that role as well!

But you are right I would like to see an addition up front and centre back to be fair!

I think the young Watford lad could be great back up for strikers role and Williams from Swansea would make good support for cb. If only big led was still fit we would be formidable at the back.

However these two player are world class and would really help us push for for a good title challenge.

Adem Ljajic has signed a pre contract with AC Milan and Walter Sabatini flew into London this morning to hold talks with Tottenham regarding Erik Lamela.

Seems like we are getting both willian and lamela. do you hear that (shhhh) that's the sound of change and its comming from north london. going to be a lot of tissues sold in arsenal. COYS

Rumours are also strong that Coentrao will be in addition of £80m for Bale.

That would make the probable first XI for Spurs: Lloris, Walker, Vertonghen, Kaboul, Coentrao, Sandro, Paulinho, Dembele, Willian, Lamela, Soldado.

Very exciting times if that team is a possibility. Just a shame about the lack of English players. Would LOVE lemela and Willian, if we do sell bale too, why not try and aim for eriksen too? With siggy for cover? Just a thought

rumours this morning in rusia press that willian is done all bar terms+medical, also italian press say that lamelas father and agent are in london to discuss terms! so which one is it surely we won't sign both??
