What about Burak Yilmaz, plays for Galatasaray. In top form and joint top goalscorer in the champions league + 18 in 21 in the turkish league! Burak Yilmaz has certainly been a statistical sensation this season, but I hardly think that the Süper Kupa compares with the Premiership. I am sure the supporters will elude to 8 from 8 goals in the Champions League, but after hammering 4 in against a poor Cluj side, the purple patch continued against Man United, Brage and Schalke. However he looked less effective tonight against Real Madrid, and fluffed his lines when called upon. He is also 28 in July and as such does not match the typical AVB acquisition target. In his favour is his bility to play RM which may be attractive with Lennon our only real option.
In summary very unlikely and probably a little overhyped after a purple patch in the Champions League and strong Süper Kupa form.
