Looks like Belhanda has agreed personal terms with fenerbache, but has to negotiate with the club. If levy wants him he has to do it soon.
We'' know soon

I really don't think that Tottenham will sign the names being banded about. Levy will pluck some unknown youngster from obscurity and hope the Spurs coaching staff can get him playing well. Levy is all about youth development, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Obika and Colubay make thier debuts whilst Ade is away. Remember Levy is as tight as a ducks butt and does not want quick fixes, with the exception of Dempsey of course. He is building for the next 3 years aka AVB's project. I believe in what AVB is doing, but not sure Levy is giving him the correct resources.

Why do people say Levy is tight ? Do you lot know anything, this is not football manager where if you go in debt you start again - he is without doubt one if the best chairmen in the game and runs the club excellently, hence us making money building new training facilities and new stadium in the way
Yes I'd love a 20-30 m pound player but the fact is we can't afford this caliber

I'd resign modric all day long! He's the missing piece! Any one agree

Essex Spurs it is great that there are some people on this site with a brain like you. These Daniel Levy naysayers are the dangerous negative undercurrent that we have had for many years. Levy has been nothing short of amazing, and for the first time we actually expect to qualify for the Champions League. The new training facilities are arguably the best in the Premiership, and the financials are healthy and aligned to our new stadium aspirations. The days of Leonardson, Armstrong, Rebrov, Taricco, Austion, Edinburgh, Cundy and Dozzell are over. We now have seasoned internationals on the bench, and some top superstars like Bale, Vertonghen, Lloris, Sandro and Dembele. It is the depth of quality that Harry eluded to. We could put out two Premiership sides or maybe even three.

Harry is absolutely correct that our 2nd XI can beat most teams. When Damiao arrives next week and Moutinho follows I expect the boo boys will go into hiding for a while.

I completely agree! In my opinion the best chiaan I. The league! These people that jus say spend £30 mill here and then another £25 mill on him don't realise they are talking about real money. I just have I ask though why orical? After a well worded good reply to a great post do you have to drag that name up that just makes me skim past all of you posts! Give you a clue it begins with a "D"

They might oracle, but also, when damaio and moutinho don't turn up next week, they will be all over you like a rash. I think you will be the one in hiding. Just give it a rest will ya.

Agree8 Disagree5

Damiao, sign for us, I doubt he will be even within a mile of london next week.
moutinho may be looked at in the summer, if we have champions league football.
contrary to belief I doubt we will sign any world beaters, however after watchin schalke against hannover the other night, holtby does look good.
his post match interview he was asked if he would be leaving, and his direct response was 'i just want to play football......which could go either way. to bring him in early to cover sandro, would prove fruitless as his defensive game is below par, but going forward and his eye for a pass is very good.
in regards to Son, he is pacy, has an eye for goal....which for 10 million is not a bad price, and there would be a potential for a good profit if we sell.
Sneijder remains an option, but along with everyone else, would have to drop his wage demands dramatically. his option is sign for another club, or rot on the bench and miss rio.
please remember there is a budget due to the following factors, new stadium and lack of champions league football.
as far as modric coming back....sod that, I do not even have to explain that.
tottenham will probably sign a striker on loan, and I would likre us to blood coulibaly......he is ready.

any heres to three points this afternoon

I think if we had a world class sticker like damiao or others we would if thrashed Man U. We were all over them they only had 2 shots on target. We had loads.

Come on levy we so need that world class striker it will pay dividens in long run even if initial out lay high.

Please sign one.

A relation of one of the Editors sadly died a while back in a swimming pool, he was only 12, but could have been saved with a diffibulator. His father is trying to get support for an e-petition for diffibulators to be available in all public buildings. If this is something you consider worthwhile, perhaps you would think about signing it:

epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/29399 {Ed008's Note - Please support this guys!!

Believable15 Unbelievable4

Im a secruity guard and have been trained to use a diffibulator, at the moment they only have them in train stations but they should be in schools and airports and every public place and staff should be trained to use them, the goverment could use a small amount of the taxs we pay to fund this and it would save so many lives and would be a worthy cause, please sign the petition thanks guys {Ed008's Note - Well said!

Agree12 Disagree2

Signed.

For those that don't know these epetitions are set up by legislation such that if they receive 100k signatures by the deadline then it is required to be discussed in the House of Commons and a vote must be held on whether to go ahead with the proposal. It is one of the few ways that ordinary people like you and I can have a direct say in how our soceity works.

When I signed it we were up to 64, 042 votes. That's really not that far away. If everyone that visits this site signed it and advertised it to friends and family then I think we'd get it over the line.

A great cause, please support.

Wulf.

Fredy Guarin (Columbian at Inter Milan) is being looked at by Spurs and Man Utd. Moutinho is only available for the 40m release clause due to his amazing form this season and he does not want to leave Porto until the summer. AVB knows Guarin inside-out and made him a world class central midfielder at Porto. He can create, score, has steel, is strong, can head, can tackle. I think he would be a good signing. Even better if we can lure him away from Old Trafford!

Ed is it true shalke have rejected a bid from us for lewis holtby to sign this month the offer was not good enough {Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Saw on couple of sites levy did his usual they want 1.6 mill and he offered either 1.2 or 1.4 let's hope he lives up to the agreement with Avb that money would be there to bring players in because at the mo levy just seems to be full of bull and just wants to bring in his cheap options acting more like a roman wanna be

Agree1 Disagree2

Levy knows no matter what he offers holtby will be a spurs player.

Levy-"200k take it or leave it or we'll get him in the summer for free"

director-"that's a humiliating offer"

Levy- " some money is better then no money"

Levy- " fine, 205k......deal?"

Agree2 Disagree3

19 Jan 2013 12:27:45
Ed, When will lewis holtby join spurs? he had a great game yesterday with 2 assists and a goal! so when do you think he will join? this month or july? {Ed002's Note - I can't say.}

Holtby played in the shalke game last night with two assists and one goal, in what seemed to be a farewell performance. His body language at the end of the game suggested he was saying goodbye to the shalke fans. Does this mean he's coming to the lane in jan! I hope so!

Thfcmatt

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Let's hope so. We could do with someone like him, if he performs like that wekk-in, week-out.

I am not itk but anyone got a feeling we may grab a striker on the last day of the transfer deadline. Also maybe not one we have been linked with. Can actually imagine someone like Torres. Obviously we couldn't pay 50 mill but if they suddenly get in hulk or falcao then he could be moved on and levy could work one of his deals. Just a suggestion so don't shoot me down. More likely to panic sign Danny graham. Any views on a Torres move?

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Torres Would more likely be used as a player plus cash deal for Falcao. It seems the most logical thing as Athletico will need to replace him anyway.

Can I ask, why oh why, when THFC (and specificlly Levy) knew that Adebyor ws going to the AFCon, have we allowed ourselves to be down to 1 striker. god forbid if anything happens to Defoe. After what I have seen in the last 4 transfer windows, I don't believe that there will be any big signings - he might pick up a bargain, but don't get your hopes up... Zac {Ed002's Note - Spurs made a bid for a striker as I explained - even though there has been nothing more on Min it shows the intent is there.}

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Damiao is done and is 100% coming the Spurs. Just let Levy and AVB sort some shuffling and Moutinho should follow.

The Oracle

Seriously Boracle.... Give it a rest.... He ain't coming....
I really hope the Eds bar you from this site on 01/02/13 when your Brazilian dream/lie doesn't come to fruition...
