Based on information I've been passed by a reliable and realistic source we are looking at making one more signing and that will be Wesley Sneider. Damiao, Llorente, Willian will not be coming. If this is our one further signing I for one will be delighted. Fee will be in region of £6-7M (not long ago he ws valued at 4 times that) - an absolute bargain for a quality 28 year old.

I hope your right he is just what we need better then vdv and he can take us to the nxt level fingers crossed we get him.

Agree4 Disagree2

Holtby shear class for schalke tonight realy hope he comes soon like his post match interveiw implyed

Agree1 Disagree4

I think your right but I think it will be m'vila who also was valued at nearly four times as much only 6-8 months ago

I read today that we are interested in Gazumping QPR for M"Vila. This must have been a story spun by an Arsenal reporter. I believe M"Vila is the most over-rated player on the market, and has an attitude problem that makes Adebayor look like an angel. At £8m people talk about a steel, I say he is worse than Huddlestone and even Livermore.

The great news is he is not a target and we have absolutely no intention of acquiring him. We are however very near with the Moutinho deal, and I expect him to arrive in January with Damiao.

The injury to Sandro does however affect the squad loans and sales, I would still expect Livermore to join Harry or even Martin Jol, and Huddlestone to leave as well for around £9m.

The Oracle {Ed008's Note - I read this and thought he makes a good point then says sell Huddlestone for £9m and I fell off my chair in tears..

Believable9 Unbelievable6

Sandro out injured, Livermore on loan and Hudd sold ...please don't let anything happen to Parker. Not sure I think all those will happen and certainly not at 9m for Hudd.

Agree2 Disagree2

Haha but I defo agree with a deal to sell huddlestone. We have long
moved on from his frustrating style.
I'd say let's sell him for 6m to fulham and keep Livermore as cover for Parker. As for Holtby, bring him in now!
M'villa won't be joining spurs. It looks like his going to be joining uncle Harry.

Agree3 Disagree3

I agree.. has more attitude than ability. never going to fill sandros role. without a mega contract. And much better
players available..yidade.

Agree3 Disagree1

I for one can't wait for the transfer window to be closed.
Not just for all the normal farcical spurs transfer dealings to be over but also I won't have to read oracles total condescending drivel anymore.

Agree3 Disagree2

What with the snow and disruption, I was unable to make it to the comedy store this evening. As you can imagine that made me miserable - then I read Oracles latest and found that the laughter was following once more !!

Sandro injured so we're still letting Jake and Tommy leave = side splittingly funny. But you follow up with £9mil for T'hudd = I can't remember the last time I laughed so load. Oracle you and your posts are the joke and dispute your well worded derogatory response that may/may not follow - I am extremely confident I won't be the only one laughing at you (again) come your customary disappearing act come Feb 1st !!

Yours roaring with laughter

Dear Oracle,

In the context of your post "steel" is spelt 'steal'.

Sign diame...cheap and a talented player

Agree1 Disagree3

Actually the club are seriously considering him again with Sandro out. He is a very good player and far more than just a dm as he has good vision and passing range and is strong and has a very good engine. He has to show a bit more maturity in his attitude off the pitch but he's still young and a few young players that get a bit too much early praise sometimes go off the rails a bit for a while
We may not tie up a deal but he is certainly being considered now Sandro is out for the rest of the season

Agree0 Disagree4

Ohhh Oracle, you are so soo soooo funny!! firstly we ain't interested in M'vila, then this morning we are linked with him in most papers, and selling Thudd for £9m, really the only way we would get anything close to that is if we sold him by weight!!

Keep going oracle your posts make me giggle and in this miserable weather its just what I need.

M'Vila to sign by Tuesday, Wont be in time for Man Utd but wrapped up soon after, may even watch the game on Sunday

Believable3 Unbelievable9

A smart move if true, Sandro missing half a season for the second year running and Parker not getting any younger.

Agree5 Disagree4

I would prefer sissoko myself but m'villa would do.

Agree3 Disagree0

Mvila is not coming to Tottenham Hotspur. We are not even interested. I fully expect him to go to Qpr if they can agree terms with him. I can't see Tottenham signing anyone until we get right to the end of deadline and signing a striker will be number one priority. Yes sandro is injured but scott parker will come in and was impressive other day against Qpr. And I am 100 % certain now sneijder will be coming either. Wages are too high

Agree5 Disagree3

If it was true he would have signed it

I wonder if such a move (if true, as we see so much of media outlets putting 2 + 2 and making 5) would affect any potential deals for an additional forward. We realistically can't expect to see Sandro fully match fit for closer to a year if the severity of the injury is as true as I understand it to be (tearing of the ACL and meniscus ligaments). I do hope that we are able to reinforce and if we do it shows the lack of belief in Huddlestone and Livermore's ability to fulfil that role.

Agree2 Disagree0

.no hope mvilla... thank our lucky stars. puttin it mildly..the kid is a handfull..... and has attitude. not priemere standard. would miss abt six games a season...for his gob..check youtube.

You may laugh, but according to some DL has had words with Stoke about Kenwyne as well as the named strikers on here i.e. Leandro, Llorente 'nd Negredo.

You're right, I did laugh

I cried. ...please Mr Levy don't leave AVB without the tools to do the job.

Agree8 Disagree0

Oracle told me its going to snow so of course when I hear that ronaldo is coming to the lane why wouldn't I believe it?

Agree1 Disagree3

Well there is a foot of snow outside my front door, I am not sure where you live.

Soon things will get even cooler when Leandro Damiao pulls on his White shirt for Spurs.

Why would DL have words with stoke about Leandro lorrente and negrado..?

Agree2 Disagree5

Hey Oracle, if you are so sure of the Damiao deal, why don't you give us a date that he will sign?!?

Agree2 Disagree3

Oracle,

When is soon give us a timeline?

Marc {Ed008's Note - Soon is never...

Agree4 Disagree3

If it is going to happen going to be transfer deadline day

Agree1 Disagree1

Please, please give it a rest oracle, either that or take to the stage with jack dee or roy chubby brown because you are a great comedian.

Agree0 Disagree2

It's already done according to the oracle 2 or 3 days ago ..but the chaos caused by the snow could muck things up I guess and we'll have to go through it all again in the summer ...yawn.

Levy is only looking at one signing and that's a striker. Don't b
Believe it or not it's either damiao or Llorente.
He may also look to bring in holtby early so he can get. Little taste of the pace & strength of the best league in the world.

Damiao & Holtby in!

so that's 2 signings? prefer llorente

Agree5 Disagree3

From the little bit of info I have this is correct. Damiao in before window closes, and Holtby to be advanced if Moutinho deal with 3rd parties can't be settled.

Spurs Steve

Agree3 Disagree2

Holtby is already a done deal but if you want to be clever, 2 signings then!

Diego

Agree0 Disagree3

Spurs Steve: Don't take that Damiao thing from the Oracle. It ain't worth it.

TSGMO

Agree5 Disagree1

Bang on the money Steve, at least we have one sensible person on this site. Even ED has confirmed it isn't ever going to happen now.

ED stop joining in with the naysaying boo boys, you know as well as I do that Damiao is coming, so stop leading them on a wild goose chase as funny as it may seem.

The only debate is whether we can bang home the final nail in the Moutinho deal. With Jamie Afro off to pastures new, we have a great chance to build something new.

The Oracle.

Agree5 Disagree0

Damiao is obviously not coming to spurs. if he was coming for the past 3 years he'd be here by now. stop with the BS, if it's true then give us a date?
