What do you guys think of soldado of Valencia.
His movement and finishing is something we have been
lacking upfront.
We've been linked with him recently! Probably one of the
most underated fowards in Europe.

Soldado and holtby in this January?

Sounds good to me!

Don't know for sure if levys willing to splash the
cash on willian or sneijder. Still hasn't given up hope though.

I personally think he would be a great purchase, real quality player with what seems a great personality, a leader, he's just got everything...only thing he doesn't have is a desire to leave Valencia it would seem.

Never get him.

It's being reported that we are looking to loan Callejon from Madrid until the end of the season. Might not be a bad stop gap.

Ed, now Sandro is probably out for the season, any chance we could go in for Diame?? He's 25, strong, a tidy player and has a £3.5 mil release clause?? I love Parker but we have alot of games coming up and he will need rest.

I would be happier with him than Mvila. Proven in the premier league-instant impact, lives in london, low price, and no apparent discipline issues.

The lack of interest in Diame at £3.5m has been something I have failed to understand. He is an absolutely superb talent who can general any midfield.

Sadly he is not on our acquisition or even contingency lists. Really sad as he is exactly the type of player to cover for Sandro and make an imediate impact in the team.

Just been told snjider is almost done. Terms agreed with player with wages and bonuses. Levy haggling on price is hold up. Levy has offered 8million, inter want 12 million that gala offered. This is the only snag.source says it will be announced before we play man u. Match fitness is a problem don't know how far away he is either.

Announcing before the game could be viewed as a statement of intent ...especially given the Reds were also rumored to want him 6 months ago.

If he was going to galatasaray he would have gone by now. He's obviously looking for another option and let's be honest a signing like sneijder on the cheap is what Levy is all about. I personally think its nailed on, especially now Sandro is out.

Not sure where your info is coming from but a website website is suggesting he was offered to liverpool for 6.2mil, so obviously inter arent after 12mil for him.

i highly doubt we'll get him even if we are in for him

Why would inter wait for us to bid 12mil when they accepted a bid of 6.2 from gala?

The price was 8 million euros which is about 6.5 million pounds. Tottenham are waiting until after the 18th because gala have a clause where they would get 5 million paid to them if he leaves before 18th. apparently it was in the offer.

He is going to liverpool so stop giving people false hope
