Tottenhams main two targets in January will be Fernando Llorente and Joao Moutinho, despite reports that he will stay at FC Porto, with comments involving commitment to be expected. Llorente contract will only have 6 months remaining, with a decline in form, running parallel to a series of disputes with the club and manager.

Llorente is likely to cost the club in the region of 16mil due to the contractual situation, with various clubs interested. Moutinho will cost the club in the region of 25mil, slightly inflated on the pre-season price.

This moves are likely to be funded by the sales of Dawson for 8mil and Huddlestone for 7mil, with Jenas and Bentley lined up for permenant moves in the future. 15mil alongside the 15mil summer profit and a significant profit made in previous summers, will allow Villas Boas to push on, as Levy loosens his grasp slightly.

Despite a move seeming unlikely, enquiries have also been made for Inters Wesley Sneijder, following his poor form in recent years. His wages and competition put any move in doubt, but the fee of 27.5mil is not out of Tottenhams reach. Although there appears no position for a No10 in AvB's set-up, the spurs manager sees the potential for a 'false 9' playing of the right hand side, as well as room for movement across the attacking midfield three.

The best scenario would see a team in this form:

Sandro.....Moutinho
......Dembele.........
Sneijder..........Bale
......Llorente.........

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the new football manager game as well...

I believe we have a good chance of getting Llorente. We NEED a 20+ goal Striker and I believe he is that. I also feel Sneijder is only destined to go to United.

I did here reports that we were talking with Erikson and that Jan had been telling him how he was enjoying life at Tottenham!

Levy will not pull up for these players. He does not have the bottle or ambition to do so ( as previous windows prove) Again we shall be linked with stars, but nothing will mataerialise.(spelling) "A problem with the paperwork" springs to mind.

We are not gettin either. Llorente will go Real or Barca on a free and schneider is 28 now so any comments of a fee of £27.5mil are in dream land. Do you know anything of our Chairman?

Oracle......is that you?

People will probly think im talking bs but i woudnt want sneijder now...he hasnt been at his best for a few seasons and will be over priced..we could buy better players with that money...i like the look of errikson though and mouthino has 2 be signed even though our midfield is strong
DAPZ

Erikson is the only likely one mentioned as he has already had a tour of new training centre, as for Wesley will never happen, levy will never pay that amount on a player who is only gonna decrease in value every year, regardless of his ability, the only others I think he'd be willing to splash the cash on is moutinho or dzagoev who o think would suit our transfer strategy, young fast with tons of technical ability, Lee

No, the above post was not me. You should know I always put my name to my posts so I can get the maximum level of abuse!

I dont think Sneijder or Llorente are great options, and I very much doubt we will get either. However I think Christian Erikson is a world class player of the highest order, and whoever gets him will be laughing all the way to the bank. With Liverpool sniffing around Erikson I would let them have Dempsey for £6m and snap up Erikson. Sadly I think that Barcelona, Real Madrid and Man United all know how good he is and I expect everyone will be out to land him.

The Oracle

What has eriksen done to dserve the fuss? hardly lights up the dutch league and flops on the big stage constantly with ajax and denmark....too much football manager and gossip column reading i feel, the big clubs are hardly swarming anymore
