Any other realistic fans fear for the future of our club let's face it if we don't make CL next year there could be the chance that bale and modric could leave if the price is right (like any player par messi)and with adebayor loan up and saha contract up were short or strikers and if I state IF bale n mod r sold our midfeild lacks creativity and have a very aging defence what's every1 realistic thoughts and yours ed

There is supposedly already £50million to spend, so if Bale and Modric both leave that gives us a total of at least £120million. Obviously no CL means there are certain players you can't get but the future is bright whatever happens.

Get Berba back!
Still a great player, has scored goals when Utd have actually played him a bit and realistic fee and wages for us. It's about as box-office as we can hope for, particularly if (most likely when) Chelski win next week.
Wait for it; ever seen a German team lose a major tie on penalties in Germany? Will probably do so next Saturday.

But they lost to another German team do it doesn't count haha COYS

Not interested,i'd rather have a player who fights for the badge, like Sandro,Parker, and Kaboul do.

That's all very well but i'd fight for the badge and you don't want me up front for us, or any of the players you mentioned there for that matter. We need fowards, Saha was a short-term deal, Ade is a loan, Defoe does a certain job but is not an option as the only out and out forward, neither is Rafa. Damaio, Huntelaar, Drogba, Falcao, Llorente.....i'd welcome them all but we've dragged our heels so many times in the past two years and the prices and/or wages aren't going to be much better now.

Dear People

Let's get over Berbatov and this hang up with his sulking exit. Unlike the traitor Campbell he left for £30.75m to the dominant force in European football. At the time we were a sleeping giant at best and a midtable nightmare at worst. He was clearly a player of world class talent and any unbiased observer would have wanted to see him perform at the highest level. He was absolutely fantastic at Spurs, and has consistently delivered nearly 1:2 goals to games ratio at every club and level. Sure he is getting to his twilight years, but was never a player who was reliant on blistering pace. I would compare him as a more skilful version of Teddy Sheringham. Brilliant vision and a total composure in front of goal will see him deliver for another 3-4 years. I see him as a superb addition to our squad, composed assured and bags of experience will be useful if Bayern Munich do the job. If not then we will need depth in our squad and at 31 years with a short contract he would be ideal. Sure he has high wage demands but will now appreciate playing for Spurs at this stage of his career, and would be open to more reasonable contractual terms.

I'd agree I'd have him not as our main striker though .... However someone to be bought on if we are lacking that cutting edge in a game

Berbatov and Remy as the front two - sounds feasible to me. Very similar to the Berbatov/Keane partnership of afew years back. I seem to recal that partnership scored over 50 goals (in all comps) between them
