Ed, don't get much chance to watch European football, but with all this talk of needing a striker, what about Jonas from Valencia? Brazilian, good on the ball, got 19 goals last season, worth a punt? {Ed002's Note - There has been no interest shown by Spurs.}

Chadli to sign soon, all but confirmed. Not overly confident on Benteke though.

He plays more central not a natural winger but can cover in that position
Do we really need this chadli I mean I have never seen him play all I know is he is a right footed left winger and scores a few goals but seriously would rather us just use townsend I really think he could be special we just need to give him a chance

Seems Villa want to do us over with Benteke & they have enquired into luc castaignos of fc twente who can probably be better than benteke & would cost about £6m!
If you want benteke you have to pay

With players like Freidel, BAE, Dawson. Caulker, Naughton, Holtby, Townsend, Rose. Sigurdson, Dempsey, Defoe & Adebayor to plug the gaps.
In summary our reserve team would finish above Aston Villa and the other false pretenders like Liverpool.

Chadli would be an excellent signing. As we are being linked with left sided wingers/strikers (Affaley, Villa and Chadli) surely Bale is playing in the middle or up front in the centre and that we are playing a 4-3-3

Inter see Remy as a cheap solution and have sought assistance from someone at Marseille to help persuade him to move from England, where he is apparently keen to stay. QPR have to sell their best players because they can't afford to keep them whilst they're in the championship. So I think rely will be a transfer deadline day signing for either tottenham, Newcastle, arsenal or Liverpool (only if they don't find another striker)
Saw some speculation they were willing to loan Remy out. I assume to get his wages off their books at least while his legal issues are being addressed.
