We are NOT going to sign Aguero, Higuain, Benzema or any other superstar player, we don't have the money or CL to be able to! You guys need to get real we can't compete for that level of player.
VDV only signed last minute cos he had nowhere else to go and we could offer CL. Realistic possible signings, Parker, Leandro and MAYBE 1 suprise that Levy pulls out of the bag!

Well, I assume that is the case as that is such a negative and factually incorrect post, it cannot possibly have come from the figertips of a Spurs supporter!
To clarify, Van Der Vart joined us at the last moment purely because Levy was playing "poker" on the deal. The price we got him for was, i think, half the amount Madrid wanted for him at the outset. Levy made an offer, and Madrid took the money, a sum far less than they had wanted for him. I suppose that is, technically, good businesss from our leader, however, as has been seen, the hard nosed approach doesn't always work, If it did we would have had a top class striker in the January transfer window. As for Aguero, Higuain, Benzema etc, it will depend soley on the fee required AND whether there are any clubs out there who can offer them Champoins league football. there seems to be the assumption that the "Big" Champions league clubs will automatically be bidding for those types of players, not true. We can certainly afford the transfer fees and, im pretty sure, that Levys wage structure will be modified to accomodate the exceptional player, it doesn't mean that the clubs wage bill per se will go through the roof! The reality is that those types of players will only end up in one of three leagues, The Spanish, the Italian or ours. There is not a infinite amount of clubs in said leagues who are in the Champions league and there are certainly more players than clubs to go to. Its not Rocket science so stop being so bloody negative, either that or sod off back to the cemetery that is the Gooner forum.

What has happend to Arsenal. Fabregas wants to leave, Nasri wants to play for Utd, clichy on his way to liverpool and finaly Abou Diaby wearing a spurs shirt round his house.

Heard from a good source who told me Friedel was joining a week before he did that the deal for Leandro Damiao is done and were trying to partner him with Aguero! He also said Defoe to Stoke in a swap deal for Shawcross. He also said were looking at another keeper from Hugo Lloris, Mandanda and Stekelenburg as Gomes has asked for a transfer back to PSV. What do you think Ed? Is this possible, I'm excited if so, lol!
