This is a strange team . we haven’t deserved either of the last 2 wins, but have somehow won them . team spirit/ collectiveness definitely seems to have returned though.
Perhaps a run of good results will see some confidence restored and the level of performance improved. But at the end of the day it’s about results . and they are getting them, somehow.

Raver, it’s not that we’re playing boring football . we’re simply not playing for the most part.
I could accept a solid defensive performance and fast decisive counter attacking football . but we still look like conceding every time an opponent attacks and for the most part we can’t play a pass to one of our own to actually create a fast counter attack on a consistent basis that makes us a dangerous team.

I agree yellow. There’s still no pattern of play to our game.
I thought we was very lucky last night. Still as you say the results matter. I’d just rather us play the high pressing game.
Vertonghen looked a little annoyed at being pulled off.

DR, I’m not sure we have full/ wing backs that are disciplined and/ or have enough pace to recover for us to play the high press.
There also seems to be fitness/ lack of pace issues for Verts and Dier . not to mention Ndombele, who looks great on the ball but tends to wander about aimlessly seemingly out of breath when not directly involved. None of which appear to be improving.

I wish Hugo would help the back line out a bit more often by coming for through balls. That one that the Southampton player smacked against the bar was a case in point! 🥅.
