Just curious as not a spurs fan but would yous do a straight swap modric for higuain as you could still probably buy mountinho.

I'd expect spurs to get a fee as well as higuain to be Honest ... I'd be a little annoyed because as much as this can be vice versa I'd like to see money coming just incase he can't perform in the EPL ...

If you think we would get cash AND Gonzalo Higuin from Madrid then your are delusional. IF the swap deal occurs it would be straight swap as Higuin would be worth £30m easy on the open market

I fear that it will seem as if we will keep modric, but then towards the end of the transfer window he will be stolen away from us for about 25-30m, which won't leave us any time to sign a replacement which will really f*** up the start of our season because we would miss him, granted getting moutiniho would be quality but i fear we'd run out of time

If it was a last minute thing we would get in excess of 40m

Just heard from my club source that we're in for Seedorf. Great signing who could really bring some stability to the midfield now that Modric is off.

This is pretty certain to happen as my boi is ITK.

Vdv is by far our best player while bale might be quicker and modric' might be more skillful,his consistincy and desire to give all for the club cannot be undermined. I recently read an article that showed that vdv earned his team the most points after frank lamps and rooney showing his importance. In top games against arsenal it has always been him who picked us up. sure he is slow and his stamina is questionable but he does the job an scores and assists usually the all important first goal or the winner in the comeback kings season(10-11). Last season however we were anything but comeback kings as we won only a point from a losing position which was because of vdv's need to drop deep and create play and with ade flirting on the wing bale was forced inside (where he believed he was thriving?).Next season however with avbs strict tactics ,hopefully bale will stay left and with a ball playing cb in vert and caulker?(will he even start),he might find no need to drop deep.Anyways in avb's 433 system i hope we play this:
Friedel
Walker Kab Vert Bae
sandro Modric'
Siggy
Vaart Ade/dzeko Bale
bench : caulker,parker,Adam.johnson,ade/dzeko,defoe,lennon,lloris
Personally i would like to see lloris start the season after this as playing friedel might inspire avb to play not a very high line which would be a recipe for disaster so in a slow transition next season lloris can take the place behind the sticks and anyways i'd like to see him get used to the defence and league before starting him as otherwise he could start out badly .
You might have noticed that i want dzeko,ade and AJ to join from citeh for a combined fee of say 30m which would seal our transfer dealings.
I think aj is perfect to come on for vaart when he is tired 65 mins and dzeko is a top quality signing and is a target man like vaart wants.Ade we all know about him now.So vaart will essentially play in a similar role linking p with walker siggy,the striker and modders who i am adamant should stay cos he is techniccally our best player and losing him wold be losing any hopes of the cl cos no matter what you say i am convinced only pirlo and xavi and perhaps alsonso can succesfully fill his boots.So in siggy we have a set piece specialist with an eye for goal and vaart -to pick us up when were down and a big bosnian in dzeko up top with bale playing wide left allowing modric' through

We have seen modders do that successfully several times.Also in avb's high line we will see modders further up with vert filling in and sandro and kaboul breaking off or holding counters alowing us to regroeup
p.s id like to see gio get game time as i think he could thrive in avb's formation
pps where do you reckon bentley could fit RF or in midfield???

Bentley doesn't fit with spurs ... And whilst a lot though went into this post some of it needs to be rethought I'm afraid
