Watching England is like watching paint dry. What is soo special about Raheem Sterling anyone? He seems very average to me.

Add Sturridge, Johnson, Henderson and Smalling in being very average. We have no chance at the world cup.

Sturridge is average? he's got one of the best goal to game ratios this season, not only in england but also in all of europe. and he's way better than any of your strikers. england's major problem is the tactically inept hodgson and the spoilt brat rooney.

Sorry have to agree, Sturridge is by far the best England have!
Smalling, Henderson, Cleverly, Johnson, Ruddy, Lampard, the Ox, Wellbeck, Lambert, Defoe, Milner, Townsend, shouldn't even be allowed to get to the airport!

Sturridge is rubbish for England everytime I watch England.

I wouldn't say 'the ox' is average, he is the type of dynamic player that England need along with players like Barklay but Hodgson I doubt will have the balls to pick these.

After reading some of these quotes I think your all missing the most important facts, English players are not technically gifted.
You only have to look how England keep the ball all in their own half of the pitch, when we get to the final 3rd our brain doesn’t know how to break / unlock defenses
I wouldn’t say Sturridge is rubbish it’s just we don’t have Suarez or a player with that sort of calibre to assist him; personally I would play Lallana he seems to be a player that wants to try & create something.
I think some more questions need to be asked about the little fat fella up front Mr. Rooney… we also have to take into account the other nights opposition, who are let’s face it very poor. I think it will be 3 games & on the plane back home maybe a few days on ipanema beach to work out the excuses, pitches, weather to hot, the usual.
