Lloris and lamella not for sale heard that about bale and modric in other words they are at the right price . Will wait and see, does anyone think the Sandro dilema strange, loyal servant mr spurs but seems he is surplus to requirements wonder if he is carrying the can for standing up to Sherwood and leading a rebellion within the dressing room apparently a very eccentric character Very strange. Although I think his best years are behind him, hoping harry kane will be top scorer next season and player of the season so Davo can donate £25.00 towards my favourite charity . Help for heroes .come on you kane .

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bobby, if he is top scorer and player of the season, I will donate £50 mate, to a very worthwhile charity!

Best years are behind him? He's 25 ffs!

Picking up injuries more often, love sandro but things catch you up, look at kaboul once outstanding just been realistic, I personally think he clashed with Sherwood and rules the dressing room and for mopo to succeed he must clear the decks regardless of who and stamp his authority on the club with no dissenting voices . So they play for him and don't wisper in corners of the dressing room . You need team spirit and a togetherness which we did not have last year and if that can be achieved with some sacrifices' so be it and if that means sandro so be it. That was my point.C.O.Y.S.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think you have sufficient evidence to suggest that Sandro is particularly injury prone or that the amount of time he spends out through injury is growing. If you do have that then feel free to publish.

As for the other point it is a rather weak style of management. In fact I would say that it is not managing at all but the opposite. And the rest of the players will see that and react accordingly. He is popular with his team mates, and is the sort of personality that can work wonders to create that togetherness.

You complain about the pump and dump philosophy (to the point to pushing the younger players to get more time), but every 'solution' I see from you on these comment boards is to get rid of someone.

I think it's quite reasonable to say he's injury prone.

Since joining Spurs back in March 2010 he has only made 81 appearances (in the PL).

In his first season, 19, second he made 23. then 22. then 17.

This is not good enough. He should be playing 32+.

Sorry, but in my opinion he can go.

As much as I love him and he is a beast, we need consistency.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think it is reasonable, especially not on the stats you give.

1st season - he was not a first team regular, not even being selected for our CL squad until the new year as he was brought through. No injuries.

He was injured for most of the summer when he took a knock in training with Brazil.

2nd season - we bought Scott Parker who was our first team player and Sandro again struggled to break through until (ironically) Parker himself was injured. He did suffer a slight calf strain at the start of January but was back by the end of the month. He also played in the Olympics over the summer.

3rd season - was fine playing in basically every game we had until his big injury that made him miss the second half of the season.

4th season - played regularly until mid December where an injury put him out for a couple of months, after which Sherwood had dropped him for Bentaleb.

So yes he has missed games through injury, but he has missed many more through non-selection, so your game count does not back up your point.

Also where did you get your stats? I'm pretty sure that you are only counting Premier League appearances (I make it 105 including cups). I think demanding 32+ of 38 games every season is unrealistic. Only Lloris (37) and Dawson (32) managed to do that this season.

So he had 1 big injury for us and a couple of smaller ones. How is that more than average for Spurs?

In my experience right or wrong it is not weak management to clear the decks or dissent in any dressing room . Heres the truth wulf or how I see it spurs last year, Spurs were dismal divided and had clicks within the dressing room, everywhere has two faced liars manipulators and people who are all for themselves who cajole people with them more so if they are millionaires, if people can not speak the lingo it gets worse . Then we had an interim manager who did not know it at the time irritating players what a powder keg, what a dressing room it showed on the pitch with performance and body language sandro was one of those dissenting voices within the dressing room amongst the young players who must of took sides and I bet on the other side was addebyour who backed Sherwood, Mopo does not only have to sort the football out the club out, but also the personal I see a bigger picture . My one hope is that spurs succeed and we have success I want mopo to succeed and bring the best out of all the youngsters and last years signings, but in order for him to succeed he has to be ruthless because unless he wins that dressing room there loyalty and there hearts he will fail . As lambert said they would run over hot Coles for him at southampton, no one at spurs was doing that for the shirt last year so wulf if he gets rid of sandro and others and is ruthless and he succeeds how is that week management . Fergusson was a master at it, an acute tactician and a master of fear but won hearts and minds and twenty years of trophies . You would not say he was weak this is what I think from the facts of last year what I saw witnessed and read . but I would say it is a pretty accurate picture, I really want mopo to succeed fed up of same old if mopo kicks a few arses they deserve it .

We can't make wholesale changes again unless we are writing the season off for transition. I guess yet another new manager means that might be the case anyway so who wants to
swallow it and do both at the same time? To class players like Soldado, Lamela, Chadli and Capoue as failures is ridiculous - culture, language, tough new league, management carve-ups, lots of new players without a set team system or direction and LOTS OF INJURIES.
Keep them all and see how they do after a taster of experience, Lamela hasn't really even had hardly any.
Left back needed, another striker needed, centre-back upgrade for Dawson/cover for Kaboul ideal. Then go with what we've got and let MoPo work on a style, system and properly assess personnel to make changes he wants later.

Agree0 Disagree0

AVB made sure that Adebayor stayed away from the first team and trained with the kids, effectively getting rid of him because he had the nerve to question what AVB was doing. Is that strong management, to just get rid of anyone that disagrees or asks questions?

That's not what Fergie did. He took some very difficult characters and made them work for the team. Getting rid of people you find difficult when you have been given the power to do so is not a sign of strength. Getting people to believe in what you are doing and get behind you, making fans of those who were once critics - that's strength.

MoPo also never told the world's media that his players were not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

Avb should never of been hired football is all about opinions, one thing we both agree on Wulf is, we want the spurs to succeed . I hope mopo succeeds and makes the whole place buzz from the boardroom to the kit room and especially the dressing room because there was a lot of division and eggos aswell as bitterness in there last year I mean I don't think you can name a game were the team performed as a team, last season I remember Vertoghhens face in one game his expression said it all he had give up, it will need a lot of strength to cure the dressing room and bring in a winning mentality Do not think we need loads of players just a tinker left back pacey central defender and striker to replace defoe and keep those who want to fight for the shirt and mopo and sell those that don't .

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What's the rush? Surely taking our time getting in the right players is more important?

Agree0 Disagree0
