He goes when he wants........

He goes when he wants.... He goes when he wants ....

Robin Van persie

He goes when he want...s........

Believable8 Unbelievable0

He aint gone yet ,just said he won t be signing ,while he still has a contract arsenal he will have to agree with them

Agree0 Disagree1

Behave yourself how can he play for you again when the truth comes out........

Agree0 Disagree0

He knows arsenal won't turn down 20mill for a player in there final year.
I'd say his man city deal is already agreed.
If so, I have a strange feeling we will end up with dzeko

Agree0 Disagree0

Another player stolen by city arsenal are citys feeder club rvp saved em last season whos gonna score the 30 odd goals he scored last year? podolski chamakh and whoever else they have up top will be lucky to score 30 between them no more one man team im sure ansene will buy a young unheared of french player who is crap to replace him

Agree2 Disagree1

Actually I think Podolski and Giroud are very capable of scoring 30 goals between them.

Agree2 Disagree2

Podolski and giroud look capable..but then so did gerviniho and chamahk. Different leagues. tougher in prem than france.

Agree2 Disagree0

I seem to recall the goons where so full of it when they 'beat us' to the signs of Gerviniho, Chamahk and Asharvin.

Thank f**k they did is all i can say!

Flippit.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah flippit boasting about signing walcott 2, i even heared gooners call him world class, hes about as world class as emile heskey, they do make me laugh mattyid

To the poster about naming rights on rumour page, Man City blatantly cheated on their naming rights deal and awarded themselves a deal which is amazingly out of proportion when you consider they are an average sized club support wise.
Platini n co need to grow some balls and clamp down. We at Tottenham should of done the stadium years ago instead of now with the ffp rules coming in.

So Adrian Durham said on Talksport that Arsenal fans were laughing at us over AVB. Time for us to laugh over RVP.

R.I.P. R.V.P.

Little Jimmy Kranjcar

Believable4 Unbelievable2

I stopped listening to that person long ago, he could pass for AVB' twin tho.

Re Mightywhiteys, had a bad day have we? It must hurt seeing Tottenham Hotspur appoint the manager that half of you sad lil runt gooners want in place of Wenger, then seeing us sign Sigurdsson and then Van Persie tells the whole world that he wants to leave and that the Arsenal board arent going to spend.
You aint no Tottenham fan you lil muppet, whygo back to your page and cry with lil girls like Ben, its hilarious.
After the way you finished off W brom you gooners must be licking your lips for next season. Water tight defence and exquisite finishing and a world class goalkeeper in Fulop, wow what a performance!

spurs guvnor

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Bet youre licking youre lips at the europa league you qualified for better luck with the champions league attempt next year, you will need it without modric

Agree3 Disagree2

Might be a blessing in disguise, missing out on c/l this season.
we can concentrate on gelling the new side together and concentrating on the league, whilst the squad members play the thursday nite games.
keeps the main first team fresh for the latter stages of the season.
so let me understand the logic of your inspired statement..... without modric we're finished as a club, yet the arses can sustain their performances without their talisman rvp.
what utter rubbish.
b/s

Agree5 Disagree1

Do will you without RVP. Difference is, we don't rely on modric, you are nothing without RVP. Oh sorry.....I forgot.....you signed podolski ha

Agree3 Disagree0

Modric ? We are all
Already resigned to losing him onwards and upwards
Bear yod

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed with the gooners only goalscorer seeming to be off and Chelski appointing a "yes" man as their manager not to upset the ego's and liverpool needing a total revamp do you think Levy will seize the moment to splash is cash to establish us as a constant top 3 club

ou812

Believable2 Unbelievable3

When have you been anything like a top 3 club

Agree2 Disagree3

Up until march last season muppet
b/s

Agree1 Disagree1

Erm....last season. Get used to Thursday night too matey. Your only player is off to your feeder club, man city.

Agree2 Disagree2

Half of last season we were 10 points up on 4th we were clearly the 3rd best team in league but we through it away thats why we have potential this season like ou812 said if we spend big and wisely now could be the best time as liv,che and goons are not as good as they used to be mattyid

Agree1 Disagree0

To the original poster..

same can be said abt you guys. never know how avb turns out...n basically just like other teams have problems ..so do you...players wanting out, new manager...with not so good record in england..n whatever.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Jul 2012 19:27:50
Does AVB have any say in transfers? Im happy with Vertonghen and Sigurdsson but we still seem to be interested in Loic Remy who is at best average. I thought AVB would have his own targets?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

When there called a coach ,they have what they are given,......

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Gooners one man team becomes a no man team. Notice all the gooners who were talking about Modders leaving have departed our site to go and lick their wounds.

Who cares what Lineker thinks, the bloke is a tool. He hasnt got a clue half the time and just sounds like is making stuff up about games, i reckon he doesnt watch half the matchs.
As for Hoddle we all know what a fruit loop he is, anyone is better than Redknapp.
Levy has done us proud, good riddance to Redknapp. {Ed001's Note - Lineker has admitted publicly that he doesn't watch football, other than when he has to for his job.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Good day for spurs fans, media already writing uzs off, avb in (give the man a far crack) sig signed, van next and rpv leaving the filth. sweet dreams fellow yids

What a season we are going to have. Replacing our two best midfielders, Modders and VDV with an amazing up and coming talent Sigurdsson. Obviously he is going to fill their boots well because he came from amazing teams such as Swansea and Hoffenheim [who don't even want him]. Along with losing our top midfielders we aren't going to sign our top striker last season either Adebayor. Where are the goals going to come from? Sigurdsson? HOPEFULLY!

On top of all that we have the amazing AVB who did tremendously well at Chelsea which got him a great reward of a couple of million after being sacked only a few months into the job. He also got replaced with the FIRED west brom manager. Great news, right? Hopefully he is as successful with us!

Come on you spurs!!!!

mightywhiteys

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Mightywhiteys, either you ain't a fellow yod or you are just extremely pessimestic, either way post this drivle elsewhere mate, Sigurdsson is a great player who will improve with a better team and players around him, Just give AVB a chance (He did get one at chelsea)

Hoddle fears Tottenham taking gamble with AVB appointment
Lets look at this as Follows.
1) An out of work manager who was sacked by Levy
2) Friend of Redknapp
3) Does the word Jealous come to mind
4) All new management appointments a gamble no matter who you appoint even Fergie can't guarantee results if he went to a new club.
5) Wanted the position for himself but wasn't considered and didn't put his name in the papers to be considered.
All the above are my opinions but it seems very strange that alot of Spurs ex-players and managers want to back Redknapp even after the way the club ended the season rather than give the new man a chance to prove himself.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

AVB was the worst Chelsea manager of the last 10 years he didn't just lose the squad he lost just about every one at the club from tea boy up. He tried to change every thing far to quickly, his post match comments are confusing to say the least! Heaven knows what he was saying in the dressing room, what ever it was it didn't work. The fella is a gamble no matter how you look at it but IF he has leaned from his many mistakes then maybe over time ,2-3 seasons, you may see some results.

Agree3 Disagree1

I'm no fan of John Terry, but calling him a tea boy is pretty low.

Agree6 Disagree1

Are you a chavski fan ? A comparison between Arry and AVB in the Sun over 27 games , showed that AVB was only 3/4 points behind Arry . As everybody thought Arry could walk on water , AVB cant be that bad , especially as the players at Spurs respected Arry , whereas the players at Chavski were worried that they were going to be dumped and starting acting like the bunch of prima donnas they are !!
Davo

Agree1 Disagree1

The way Terry has been falling over at the back wouldnt trust him with the tea most prob keep spilling it must be his ego he keeps tripping on

Agree3 Disagree1

After euros watching balotelli walk in behind terry every time the ball was played over his head i expect him to be targeted by every team this season could be funny mattyid

Venables tells Tottenham boss Villas-Boas to check ego at door
Spurs legend Lineker unimpressed by Villas-Boas appointment
The above comments from these 2 are just so called spurs supporters getting their kicks in as they are both friends with Redcrapp also there are many comments from Hoddle or proved he wasn't a very good spurs manager, I bet none of these will have the bottle to admit it in public if he proves to be a success and Lineker will have a full season on the BBC to continue making remarks about the appointment which I think will continue to undermind his position.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Bit harsh on Harry (redcrapp) as he took spuds from the bottom to a top 5 team I bet when he was manager you were saying he is the right man for the job.i no most of you spuds fans are worried of the AVB appointment but just putting on a brave face as there nothing you can do about it.only time will tell if it is the right choice but Harry proved you don't need time as he changed made them a top team straight away

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Jul 2012 08:05:38
So new manager but same targets? I can see vertonghen and sigurdsson signing because the deals are so close but the papers seem to still be throwing loic remy's name about. AVB might not want him. If levy is going to choose who we sign then the relationship between manager and chairman could start off bad!

Damiao is another target we have been linked with for three transfer windows now. Unless AVB is a fan then I can't see it happening. AVB must have targets and he must go for the players he believes in, not who levy thinks are good based on YouTube videos.

It is going to be an interesting summer....it's already been interesting but with money to spend, future of players to sort out, I doubt we will be off the back page much!

Last note: I think vdv will be offloaded very quickly in a statement from AVB and club. He seems to be the only player in our squad who can be opinionated and seeing what terry and co done to AVB then an example might be made of our only player who could rustle some feathers.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Some good points......
