hey guys, Liverpool fan here. Just wanted to say what a great transfer window you got, and what a day! Lamela, Eriksen, Chiriches. omg haha! A lot of our fans complain about us not getting targets that we both had, like Eriksen for example. But really, just want to say good job, never seen a transfer window that is so sucessful. Spurs is my second favourite team (even if there is a huge gap between my love with Liverpool haha) and I hope you finish on top and that we finish in the top 4, in front of Arsenal hehe. It doesn't matter if Lamela or Eriksen and Clariches play or not. We got a massive squad already to choose from and probs be better as they have gelled a bit together already. Defoe done well other night

Please don't think I'm a pessimist because I couldn't be happier with these fantastic signings but there will now be a lot of pressure on us. Everybody will now be expecting us to be challenging for the title or at least a comfortable top 4. Realistically we should be looking for the top with the squad that Levy, Baldini and AVB gave assembled, let's just hope they gel quickly. COYS.

Yes Baldini is the obvious choice but which player?
My choice is Soldado but that's only if I had to choose as I think all our signings have been tremendous Exept Chadli who I'm not convinced with yet.
I think paulinho is quality. at 17mil compared to citys 40mil fernandinho, its not hard to see who got the better deal.

If townsend keeps firing then I don't see how he can be dropped, but I highly rate Lennon and think he deserves a starting spot. I'm also guessing that Chadli will be used as a bit of a back-up for Lamela once he has setled in.

wenger saying that our signings could unsettle our squad and season as need time to gel, I have to disagree as the games so far this season they looked good and only can get better, and the new signings today lamela and romanian defender can't prenounce his name lol but they will only add quality to it and I seem to tink AVB let's the new signings to play were they want to play but at the same time he doesn't push them to hard early so the can't be unsettled also with maybe eriksen comeing soldado will have more then enough creativeity behind him now to get more chances on goal, on sunday will tell how far we have come with our new signings and hopefully wenger will have to kiss hos ass and eat his own words if we win

Apology time, mr levy I have criticised you and called you all the name under the sun, I have blamed you for having a lack of ambition, tight fistedness, I have seen countless windows go by that only end in disappointment! Bit concerned that ac Milan will do a Chelsea on us and snatch eriksen with boateng looking as though he is going to schalke. Is this a possibility and what would be our potential back up if this was to happen?

Frank De boer said yesterday that he thinks erikson, at that time, was undergoing his medical and that the signing is inevitable.
Johan cryff said erikson is joining his 'perfect' team in spurs and will do very well.

Rumours floating about that Mourinho has made Torres available after signing Eto'o. Worth a punt? £20m should get him, just wages could be a problem and I think our style of play would suit him better and get his old form back (maybe not quite what it was, as he hasn't been the same since injury, but there or there abouts).

Is Holtby still going to have any place in the squad with eriksen coming in, I thought he was quality tonight including the goal!
Holtby real class, perhaps a premier loan a good idea! Sell Siggy, maybe Lennon and Dawson! Although Lennon has blistering speed, still doesn't seem to be able to pick his pass, maybe good squad player? Dawson, hate to do it because of his determination, guts and loyalty, but we now have three of the best CH 's with Capouie as back up . Do we need more?
Agree with Davo, would love to see Holtby go to Everton as he is a boyhood fan and they will be short of midfielders if Fellaini goes.
Can see Lennon going if Lamela & Eriksen come in, along with Townsends form.
I would say hold on to Dawson this season, and sell him next year. Fryers will be ready for 1st team by then, and will be great at both CB and LB. Exciting times!
Firstly stop hating on Dawson because he's still easily good enough to play for us. Secondly yes of course you need 4 dedicated CB as you will need to cover for injuries and although it is not the most tiring position we have a long campaign ahead of us.
Lennon is also easily good enough to play for us. One thing that is rarely rated is how he is a option because his speed and mostly his acceleration is so good that the opposition winger has to drop back to double up on him. Not only does that reduce the opposition attacking threat (allowing Walker to be more advanced) but it can also open up gaps elsewhere.
Also there is a big danger in breaking the continuity of a team by changing too many players at once. It's important to have the big players from last year all part of the team whilst the new guys are integrated.
Agree about Dawson to a degree Wulf, but will he want to stay as 4th choice, because that's what he really will be? Also he costs us a lot with his insistence of playing 50 yard passes to the opposing defence!
As for Lennon, he is going to end up behind Lamela, Townsend, and Chadli, so will he want to stay as well . The bloke is brilliant on the ball, but doesn't look up enough for the killer ball!
