I'm a chelsea fan but I believe you guys would be foolish not to make a big push to sign benteke.

Levy - Sign Benteke Now! SO Much more of a threat than any of our strikers and with in the Levy budget!

I know you fellow Spurs fans want better! but he is better, than Oracle's baby!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree he is a goal scorer and will score all day long

Agree0 Disagree0

Would Spurs really want to spend 25mil+ on him though?

Forget about the Baines rumour because he would only leave Everton to go to a top club

That'll be a club above everton then

If Bale's going to leave this summer I want Levy to get it over an done with ASAP, an give AVB enough time to sign the player he wants an too be given the entire amount that Bale was sold for
No messing around on Transfer Deadline Day this year please Mr Levy!

I don't think selling bale should be an option. you guys struggle without him. and with him, its only his magic that gives you wins.

build a team around him if you want to be contenders. this is where we were when we had cesc and rvp, now we are two years behind. you want to sell you can't replace the quality with quantity.

good luck to you guys last 4 games. obviously us before you lot.

good stuff on the double award too

And by the same token if bale wants to go then please say so straight away, and if you want to stay state that within a fortnight of the season ending put it all to bed and concentrate on improving the squad don't let a modric or berbatoss situation develop

Could we win all 4 games left? Yes. Will we? No, I doubt it.

Very unlikely the others will drop a point and we would have to win at Chelski away to have any chance of over-hauling either of them which is a tough one. We haven't been as good at home this season and so hardly guaranteed to win both of those ties anyway.

Negative it might sound but it's also realistic and been proven many times before - the bookmaker's odds tell you all you need to know about probability.

So we finish 5th, Bale will probably still stay another season or until January at least or Levy really would completely lose all PR credibility with fans but, unfortunately Bale will then end up being spun as our major signing of the summer. While we're busy being grateful he stays, we haven't really got many players to sell and will likely spend a maximum of £15m net. Surely there has to be some sort of striker bought but, maybe we'll sell Ade to Russia and still end up with only 2 for next year!

Arsenal will spend yet again (they talk like they don't yet they have bought at least 8 x £10-12m+ players in the past couple of years, plus more players on top) and obviously Chelski and City will go nuts, Utd are Utd so it leaves us on the edge. In fact, the scousers have work to do but they and Everton are only a signing or two away from being bang there with us. Ditching Europa League by using what youth/squad players we do have might give our best 11-14 the chance to hang onto the coat-tails of 4th again, if we have a bit of luck and don't suffer hardly any key-injuries for more than a week or two.

Otherwise, strap yourselves in for another season of the same.

Oh to end up wrong in the next 3 weeks. Same old dream, same old, drawn out disappointment looming. Good luck lads, we will be right behind you. Players and new manager have done very well this season but sthe quad balance and numbers were never good enough, particularly after the overall quality was slightly depleted in losing Ledley, Modric and VDV.
