well done spurs. utd played for a point how many times can you say that. in the last 15 min of every game we look so fit. fazio and davies are improving big time and the rest of the team are starting to gel. i'm not worried about chelski on thursday bring them on. also welshgooner jokes about us playing for a draw against utd and chelski. didn't his team get smashed by thease 2 when they played them.LOL

If Utd were playing for a point in the first half i'd hate to face them when they are playing for all 3.
LVG commented that may have been the best 45 mins they've played this season. We have Lloris and the change of attitude at half time by the other 10 to thank for digging out a point and yes at the end Utd were hanging on for a point.

I have to agree YC, we we're saved by the post, Lloris a few times, the ball just didn't fall for Utd in the 1st half, we could have been 3 down.
Still the 2nd half we showed grit & determination ground out the result without really threatening the goal, in the end both teams should be happy with the point.
We need to be more of a goal threat against Chelsea. To be honest I'd be happy with another point. Maybe play 2 strikers against Chelsea. Or 2 goalkeepers.

Well done to the team today. Not too concerned which squad players are on the park if they show commitment and cohesion like today. Bring on the blues, but stand by for even more shenanigans from them in their quest to secure the points at whatever price. This is unfortunately how some of the top teams play the modern game.
Back to the Spurs and I standby my prior prediction of Kane for England No 9. He appears to have a good engine just need a bit more 0-60, maybe a few more grid sprints in training!

What is Mopo thinking, playing Chiriches at right back, and dropping Lamela for townsend, Jesus!

First half was pretty much as expected. Second half was a very welcome experience, working as a team, pressing and could have won it.
Now if we can replicate the second half for 90 minutes on a consistent basis we could dare to start dreaming again.

I thought the boys done well today, Mr Kane did exceptional. They also recon we now run an extra 3 mile in games which shows we are getting fitter hence the late goals of late. Again a good team effort.

Could be your chasing the ball more,
They say you have to work harder when you're chasing the ball
Just a thought

You could be right Taffy, I recall you chased the ball a hell of a lot at the emirates when Utd came down a few weeks back.
Still only a bit of banter.!

Davo, it was a second game in less than 48hours so we needed to rotate a little.
I think the inclusion of Townsend was to get at their suspect defence.

I honestly think that if Davies and Walker had played we would of won but can't take anything away from the players that played.
I really hope we get at Chelsea like we did in the last game against them, well until they scored. Got to be clinical with any chances that come our way.

Id guess Walker was saved for the Chelski game with his fitness still not at full level. I suspect MoPo figured this was the safer game to take the risk with Vlad and being only 48 hours after the last game maybe Walker was not fully recovered to play another game.
