Well, that was absolute sh**e! The whole team was an embarrassment! It's one thing playing 4-4-2, but you could drive the QE2 through our midfield, without getting near a player! I know Sherwood has said he will give younger players a go but Holtby and Ericson as central midfielders please! Ericson would be the first name in my midfield alongside Sandro, but we need a bit of muscle in there! Was pleased to see Ade back to his best, ( ha ha ) and once again we managed to get a good few 50 yard passes to the opposition from Dawson, along with bad positions and crap tackles!
We have now gone from slow, boring football with no end product to a faster more attacking game, with no midfield and no end product, so we are getting there slowly!

Another positive post. Boring

Did you have a good Christmas davo

Davo I hear you. Let's see in this transfer window what Tim can do we will need to shuffle it about as a lot of what we got want to play In The same position.

Malaga, yes mate I did, had family round, sunk a few vinos, and relaxed! Now back to the football or lack of it!

Sorry Mcyid, positive post for a positive game! Apart from getting a point against a mediocre bottom six team, can you name me any other positives?

Is like us to see berba back to link the play from the midfield to saldado

Agreed that we were sh#t today. How Siggurdson starts is beyond belief. Sherwood got it very wrong today team selection wise.

We had 4 times more shots today than W Brom and yet they had more on target!!

Have to agree with Davo. I could not believe it when I saw Holtby/ Ericksom as our midfield. It begged the question where was our holding midfielder and if the answer was none, then what manager in his right mind would leave "speedy" Dawson and inexperienced Crickeris( can't spell his name) unprotected. I think we were lucky to get a point. I was glad when Tim got the job but after this team selection I am not so sure.

Kaboul - Injured
Vert - Injured
Paulinho - Suspended
Sandro - Injured
Dembele - Injured
Lennon - Injured
Townsend - Injured
I agree we were lightweight in midfield, but whoelse was there to play? Capoue was the only other option in reality. So Sigg HAD to play, Dawson HAD to play, Vlad HAD to play!

Got to say I was surprised with the team selection no muscle in midfield Sherwood seems to not like Capoue and I can not think of a worse winger we have bought than Chadli what does he give to the team - still it may have been a different result if Sandro, Lennon, Vert, Paulinho had been playing maybe 442 was the wrong formation against West Brom who sat back for a point but I was still disappointed with our slow 1 and 2 touch play but we have to wait and see what Tim can do! but it is looking like the season might be a right off for top 4, I would rather finish outside europa spots and bed the likes of Lamela in the side!

Not diagreeing about lots of injuries but we had Capoue on the bench, good holding midfielder!
Perhaps we should line up 4-1-3-2? It gives us strength in front of the back 4, width and guile in the middle and two attackers! 4-4-2 is not the way to go unless all the mid fielders are going to get back behind the ball when they attack, and some of ours are lazy buggers!

KMB, Vlad should be first choice anyway, alongside Vertonghen when he is back.

Capoue played the best of our summer signings before he got injured against Arsenal.
