I See that damiao and willian and moutinho are coming in january! yeah right, santa claus is coming nxt month too!..we will probably end up selling dawson to qpr for £5-£7m?..can anyone please tell me if they think that gallas or even caulker is better than dawson?! because if you do think they are better, you know as much as avb does!..new players may not be on the agenda this january, but a new coach/manager!! get klopp from dortmund,a young manager who wants to test himself in england or spain

Believable2 Unbelievable7

We've just won and u still want Avb out ..... FFs relax

If you seriously think for a second that Jurgen Klopp would leave BVB for Spurs then you are out of your mind. Get a grip and realise we've got one of the brightest young managers who is arguably hungrier than anyone else to prove himself in the Prem.

Much much much better.. Avb well done looks like he might turn it around as his team selection was the one.. He recalled Dawson and Lloris went 442..
Defoe with a couple again.. We're would we be with out his goals
Mr g

Didn't see the game Mr g but wondered if we were playin 442? Just askin because we were playing Dempsey. Was he playing as a striker? We looked class on Motd.

Agree0 Disagree0

He had a better game .... You know what mate I'm getting confused with formations ....442 when attacking 451 when defending.... What ever Avb did I looked good because the whole team played well... Dawson over galas and calker all day long...
Mr g

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeah me too mate. good to see Bale getting through the middle effectively too. I gotta say I do like Caulker and Vertonghen but Dawson is Mr Tottenham always puts himself on the line.what would be your ideal back 4?

I feel the festive spirit getting stronger, and I believe that the vast majority of true Spurs fans are positively optimistic. Sadly the latest efforts from some to expatiate us with exorbetent verbiage, demonstrate the fickle soft under belly of our support.

There is little doubt we are not the confident, attractive unit that was our trademark, and I for one loved Modric and VDV. However the issue is not solely about their departure or indeed AVB's arrival. It is about a number of things including new players, injuries, new formations and an over flowing warchest.

Everyone can see Gallas is at the heart of literally every conceded goal, that Naughton is much better as a RB, Sandro needs someone to share the load in Parker, and we need cover for Bale & Lennon. BAE returning to RB, Kaboul partnering Vertonghen and Parker sharing the load with Sandro totally changes the feel. Ignoring speculation, it would be extremely unlikely if we didn't spend the £34 million that has clearly been banked. With some deadwood in the shape of Gomes, Bentley & Jenas coupled with the likely sale of Dawson to QPR, I very much doubt that even the most sceptical fan is expecting presents under the Christmas tree.

AVB clearly wants to stick with his pressing 4-2-3-1 formation. I can see at the very least, we will secure cover for Bale and a new striker. What is sure is if Dawson does go, we will have a first XI midfielder and striker addition in January. Lets assume Willian and Damiao as players well within our reach, how different would we look in January.

GK - Lloris / Freidel
LB - BAE / Naughton
CB - Kaboul / Gallas
CB - Vertonghen / Caulker
RB - Walker
CM - Parker / Huddlestone
CM - Sandro / Livermore
LM - Bale / Willian
CM - Dembele / Dempsey / Sigurdson
RM - Lennon / Townsend
CF - Damiao / Defoe / Adebayor

With Dembele able to play in a more attacking role, the defence looks very different with Sandro and Parker in front. This will totally change the emphasis for Lennon and Bale to have to fall so deep, and give then the confidence to press the flanks. With Dembele providing a real threat through the centre, and a new prolific goal scorer up front. These changes are nothing major but I expect the momentum would compliment the AVB shape, and provide a balance further up the field offensively.

So have faith over this Christmas period, watch us derail Big Sam later today, and remain optimistic about what presents Santa will leave under the tree. Remember what I wrote here all you fickle armchair supporters, as this season will come good and you will look back and wonder what all the fuss is about. Focus on supporting your team against West Ham and Panathinaikos, and soon even you will start to see there is light at the end of the tunnel.

God this bloke talks out of his arse ! I thought the Damio rumour died 2 seasons ago , yes Willian would be lovely , but no way is tight arse going to sanction that , too expensive and we arent even top six . And can some one tell me what is the point of playing Parker and Sandro together , thats worse than playing Hudd and Sandro together ! At least Hudd can pass the bloody ball !!
Still with Arry joining Qpr , theres probably at least 4 players that will leave , hopefully Gallas and livermore !

Dear Oracle,

Please give up. We are not going to sign Damiao or Willian. We are not going to move to the Olympic stadium and we are bored of listening to you.

Kindest regards

Davo it is pessimistic, negative fans like you that are the main reason that Spurs consistenly underachieve. You condemn the owners, the managers and the players and expect the team to flourish with your morose pessimistic attitude.

Willian and Damiao are exactly the type of players we will sign, or do you expect Bobby Zamora and Shaun Wright Phillips?

Go join QPR and then you have a real reason to moan, and perhaps Harry will give you some excitement along the journey. The sooner our terraces are emptied of infectious fickle fans like you, the sooner we will make the next step to Glory.

So it's down to the fans now that we are underachieving.I suppose Levy is doing a grand job eh

Ha ha , not only are you full of sh**e but you eat dictionarys for breakfast . Yes they are the type of players we would all like to sign , but will ?? You have spouted this crap for years , Damio this , that and the other . In fact if I had a £ for every time you have told this crap , I would have brought Damio for the club myself . I know this is a banter site , but You must have a seriously sad little life , because not only have you been proved wrong season after season , you still keep coming out with it ! The problem is , if you keep spouting it long enough , sooner or later you might get it true once . And by the way , not sure how me being a negative fan makes Spurs as a club constantly underachieve , perhaps I haunt the laces of Dempseys boots and it makes him play like a complete prat . Still Oracle , you have got some balls to still push this crap and you do make me laugh !

Mr G , always though it was Daniels son in disguise , didnt realise it was the great man himself . Then again , it could be Sandra with Arry's christmas list !

Did I read this right ? -

* Davo it is pessimistic, negative fans like you that are the main reason that Spurs consistenly underachieve.

At want point did you ever see a bunch of fans take to White Hart Lane Pitch in the place of 11 perfessional players on a match day??

Take your crap "predictions" and just bugger off. NO ONE on here is interested in your regurgitated daily star rubbish.

When are you ever going to learn?
